Hi Aaron, yes the keto diet works very well with me. After a frustrating doctor's appointment where I'd gained 3 kgs in a month, I knew I'd go back to the ketogenic diet, lose a lot of weight. So good so far. I'm Australian, in Tasmania. Your recipes are great, and you present really well. I'd love to get your book, so will keep an eye out to there.
Thanks a lot, like the idea -- keep it simple. You don't want a recipe that is full of exotic ingredients (usually expensive) and then realize you don't have these at home. Cheers from Europe.

Great video! I'm ok keto for around 3 months right now...as I don't like to spend much time in kitchen and using all simple ingredients also I do fasting 20:4 which means I can have one max 2 meals per day. I find it super hard to find something which will be good and help me to loos weight also keep all the macros. Is there any chance that you can make some samples with one max two meals? Thank you so much!

How do you know if you do better with more protein or more fat?
It mainly comes down to your protein threshold, however most people do better with a slightly higher protein ratio that a "classic" keto diet suggests. I have plenty of clients who do best with sufficient protein (which is what this video showcases)

I need about 1500 calories on a regular basis, and 1800 when I work out daily and lift. Can I use this as my base of food every day, and save 200 calories for keto treats?? Will this hamper weight loss?
I flinch when you put keto treats and weightloss in the same category. For workouts, you need to be eating at least 1g per lb bodyweight, so if you weight 90lbs... Sure! However I would generally suggest a much higher protein range in this case

208g protein?? I'm a giant person who's fat - but over 200 g protein is quite a load. Other calculators use 'lean body mass' for their recommendations, ~140g for me.

I would recommend not go to below 1400 kcal long term I don't think it's a good idea. Keep active people and eat!
All depends on the personal circumstances. 1400 is weight gain for some people 👍
40 grams of carbs is too much for clean keto. More like 20 grams

Net carbs - 20g

Fats - 100g
This day of eating will work in a very similar way for you as the calories are identical 👍

Rubbish, AND you need to know your carb threshold. GKI values of clients in the 3's. There is this crazy notion that 20g net carbs is for everyone. It's super unsustainable for some people.
