infrastructure and environment wise, improvement is huge the last 5 years. I worked 2.5 years in Kunshan, a small city near Shanghai. Government offices are at the same level. Roads and waters in canals and lakes are clean.

For science / engineering major student, especially IT or computer science, if can speak mandarin it’s very easy to get jobs. If could speak English and Mandarin both fluently, yes, it’s the best.
But the jobs mostly are stressful, the OT is common. Advantages is salary good and you could learn and grow fast. Disadvantage is, work and life unbalanced.

It happens in everywhere, if you want good figure of salaries and facilities, you have to put more efforts in job than your lifestyle.
But still we have to make time in order balance both job and personal life.

What about Medical field (Laboratory specialist)
I suppose if an Indian, Thai, etc. wants a job in China, he/she must have the desired skill and Chinese language proficiency. When my nephew married a Chinese girl, his first task was learning Chinese for six months. Even though he has a MS in electrical engineering, his language proficiency was not enough to land him an engineering job. He could have taught English, but he did not desire to do so, as he didn't have a teaching diploma. Currently, if you are proficient in a specialized technology, and China needs it, they may waive the language proficiency.
Usually English should suffice if you are in the highly skilled category
i dont want to speak negative of ur nephew, but he should have learnt English first as it is far more easier to learn than Chinese.

Actually this is Gov service building, cities in china required to have such service building where different gov departments setup service counters at. Ideally you can get all gov paper works done in just one place. The policy making Gov offices may spread across the city.

To quote: "Foreign nationals visiting the mainland of China for resuming work and production in various fields" My question is: Does this visa facilitation also concerns first-time visa applicants who are also vaccinated but have never been to China before, or does it concern only those who already had been in china but stuck outside and want to re-enter? Or does it concern both cases? Your feedback is very appreciated.
If you got vaccines already, China will admit that. But you still have to quarantine for 14+7 days this year .

I thought the conflict in Ladakh would discourage Indians coming over to China. India ban Chinese companies. With the new Delta variant, it will be even harder for Indians to come over.
If Indians do not ban, more jobs will be created and more interactions between two countries will be have. However, I do know some foreigners move to China during the covid.
It is very clear to tell you that China will not pay attention to the demeanor of a big country since ancient times and disdain to do it.
Whatever conflict at the border is not a big a deal or conversation piece for most Chinese so far
