Can Simple Green cleaning fluid be used in the machine?
How do I keep the tool rotating? I find some of the brushes stop moving

I use dilute Simple Green in my PT chain scrubber and clean the cassette with old toothbrushes.
Does the magnet come off the bottom of you want to clean out that area of the unit? I've got the previous model and the gunk is collecting on the bottom but I didn't want to yank on the magnet and break something
There is a clip holding on the magnet. To clean out the inside, remove the brushes, and use a rag to wipe out the inside. Leave the magnet in place.

The CG-2.4 is the full set, including the chain cleaner, solvent, and gear brush. The CM-5.3 is the chain cleaner itself. Hope that helps!
