Orion is currently the one and only servant that can solo Cernunnos (mostly thanks to his permanent debuff immunity)
I believe that QSH can solo it as well and thats what I'm trying to do for my next run.
I still think that full power Kama/Mara is the most difficult boss to beat in the game so far , but Cernunnos gets from me the honorable 2nd place.
Avicebron here plays the role of Georgius with nobd CE and you actually don't have to use a taunt CE on him

I honestly never thought this would even be possible for a servant to solo (I know it technically wasn't a full solo but even then not many servants can achieve this with that setup). But here we are. This is why Orion has been the Goat since day 1 and always will be.

I used Super Orion to finish off Cernunnos's full final bar when everybody got killed. He finished Barghest off for me as well. Definitely glad to have him.

This is it. GRAND ARCHER THE GOAT. I also had him take out 3 from the 4 hp bars but it was really close. Outmost respect for this archiment!

Other than the fact that Chadrion is basically the King of Solo ver. Archer, there are somethings about Cernunnos that need to be noted but first most...it's the dumb Curse Damage Resistance. If not for the fact that this gimmick can basically kill most ST DPS Servants if planned wrong.
I should note that the only real advantages Super Orion has over other ST DPS Servants in this instance, is his insane Crit DMG output and his NP granting Invincibility Pierce and a passive Star Generation both of the latter two lasting for 3T and being stackable per NP cast. I'm only saying this because of Debuff Immune CCs that last for 3 times do exist and CCS that provide passive healing per turn if the face card hits also exist, meaning that if the Servant in question can reliably (by luck) get those face cards, get them while also having a skill like Guts/Evade/Invincibility can help keep them alive. What makes Cerno here a real pain in the ass is the fact that each Curse on him grants him a reasonably high DMG Resistance so your DPS output is going to be nerfed normally. Additionally, if that wasn't enough, he can put up an Invincibility Buff for a while, so if you lack a CE with Invincibility Pierce (not many CEs have that), a CC that lets your normal attacks gain that trait or have an NP that applies Invincibility Pierce for that turn, you're getting walled. As a result, because of Super Orion's Crit DMG being absurd enough to dish out high numbers making the Damage Resistance less problematic and his NP granting Invincibility Pierce for 3 turns, it gives him more room for what his CE and CCs should be. The same can't be said for any other ST DPS Servant that would try this because they need an Invincibility Pierce CE/CC to get around that if they want to do full damage per attack without wasting an attack(s) to get around it. One of the lesser problems that is probably overlooked, is that Cerno is a Berserker, meaning he has class advantage over all but Foreigners and Shielders as of NA while also taking more damage from all but Shielders at the same time.
In short, Super Orion has a sharp 67% advantage over every other Servant that would dream of solo'ing this battle. QSH works...but his NP gain isn't that strong and his NP lacks passive star generation...on top of his actual star generation output not being too great. I could attempt to list a few other Servants who could 'solo' this battle but the list is so short (as of NA) that I'd rather not bother. Just note that there are three attributes needed at the bare least to beat this beast: Invincibility Pierce, Debuff Immunity and high DPS to get around the stupid Damage Resistance.
You need to noted that each attack that you do will give the servant 3 different debuff which are def down, curse, and the HP down. The only debuff immunity CC that we had right now only prevent immobility (stun, charm, etc) and NP/skill seal, they cant prevent those debuffs that i mention. Even if you use debuff cleanse CC, it only cleanse 1 debuff meanwhile you get those 3 debuff at once. If you talking about CE then as far as i know, it only last for 3 times, and it doesnt come with an additional damage buff, meanwhile you have to survive for 4 HP bar while need to dealing a huge damage. It could work on a team but in a solo it practically useless.
Thats why servant like Super Orion is perfect for solo this kind of battle, cuz beside he can deal a huge amount of damage, he have that 3 turn debuff immunity, it basically prevent him from the big issue of this battle.
@@farizahmad3036 That's very much true, though out of all those debuffs, only the Curse and Defense Down are truly threatening. I'm not referring to CEs with Debuff Immunity, I'd be more concerned about picking a CE with Invincibility Pierce because of Cerno's Invincibility Buff it will toss up once the battle has started to reach a set point.
Until we get the new CQs from JP which JP account players comment are too difficult for even Orion himself to handle alone, Super Orion will most likely never face death in a solo outside of poor RNG on the player's behalf. I'm leaving it there because everyone faces hardships differently. Barghest's final battle gave me serious issues.

@@GachaLord Depending on if you're solo'ing or not, I don't see the HP decrease as a major problem. I can't fully argue in the case of solo'ing situations because I'm not a player who likes to try solo battles, not just because I don't have Servants who can do that outside of rare CQs.
For solo'ing, yes, all three debuffs are a major pain to keep away. I won't argue with that.
When using a full team, I again will say, at least from my experience of having to retry many times to get the hang of this long, long battle, the HP decrease isn't as bad as the other two debuffs. With Support Servants (as in those that buff, deal with debuffs, etc), that's not as problematic but still serious.
I still find two of LB5.5's battles to be more problematic and I've had a slightly harder time against Barghest because of being forced to field three Story Supports, of them all, only Mash herself was useful. This is ignoring Oberon who, for all purposes, I still can't cope and won't battle anymore until I've managed to get some better CEs for my DPS Servants.

Clean fight!!
Had a bunch of restarts, but I manage somehow with my 120 Musashi. (Saber, full append, command code defend up, np up, heal up, heal)
Cleansing the curse with her skill and mystic code is the key, and also ofc Totoro's crit. not really solo because turn 1 I got to buff my Musashi tho, had to bring Nightingale so the buff isn't gone at the first break bar too.
The frontline is Musashi, Tamamovitch, and Nightingale Santa all 10/10/10, the backline is Castoria NPC, I think I manage to win after 1hour or so because for a certain reason, Cernunnos kept crit me for no reason, finished it on 7th turn and had to tank at least 1 turn which is 1 crit is enough to kill my Musashi.
This fight is def my most fun fight in FGO, now that LB6 is finished, I feel empty, that's how much I love the story and fight in this part.

I've been trying to solo with Enkidu and I kid you not, I've gotten 20k away from winning in the last HP bar. That was by far my best try, I will keep trying!
Enkidu and Super Orion are oc the best servants to battle against Cernunnos...nothing unexpected from the best standard-class solo units.

Reslly didn't think this was possible. I'm not sure my Gogh can do this because her terror won't stun him, but she takes less damage from him. I'll try and see how far she goes. In the end, it just depends on the type of enemy. Gogh suprasses Super Orion as a solo servant in cases where her debuffs work. Super Orion can't solo Woodwoose from the recollection quests but Gogh can, and I think that's the hardest boss.

RNG reset , Cern has a chance to get a curse layer when he attacks , before the activation of the CS he got 3 curse layers , afterward he got 2

I think it's not considered a solo when you sacrifice frontline, a solo should only consist of a soloer and two taunters. Like this video the frontline sacrifice took 4 curse stacks of the boss, so this should be considered last man standing. The only solo video I've seen with Cernunnos is Voyager.

At the start of every turn Grimr can give 20% NP charge (as you can see in turn 4 as well)
or 3000 healing or some debuff cleaning
@@carrotguyachilles6454 The start of the turn had already passed, you'd even used two skills when at 20%. After the two skills, cut to cutscene, then face-carding without showing selection but mysteriously at 40%. Not even a cut save-scum can explain it.

Me personally if you have to use a heal, a 3 turn invul from another unit and a rng reset from a Mystic codes, that is not a solo in my book. Mystic codes should not even be touched at all, especially not hidden like it is here. You gave an explanation as to why you did it but purposely hiding it between cuts does not bode well, at least show it. I'd much rather wait 5 seconds to see some cool tech rather then have an out of no where cut with the explanation being out side of the video entirely. I'm not claiming this was cheated, because it isn't, but it is very misleading in my opinion. At least put "Solo" in there like you do with some of your other videos. It's still impressive nonetheless and this isn't even his max form. Imagine this at 120 max skill tree.
After countless tries and more than 10 golden apples I honestly cant care less about using a CS to reset the RNG just because of one curse layer that could ruin the entire run.
Orion won by using his power alone so its a solo in my book , Im less restrictive about using Avicebron for a bit defense , almost any solo video contains George with bond CE or something so its not that different
