@@sol_in.victus I'm not North American either, butter on popcorn sounds like it will get soggy instantly. But a normal ear of corn with some butter, salt and pepper is delicious and quite common, at least here.
@@canox6017 It's cooked in the butter, it's oily but basically dry in terms of how "soggy" the popcorn is. I'm sure some people go out of their way to drown it, but the default is pretty much the same as buttered toast. Very crisp and crunchy.
As an European, butter on hot corn is not exactly standard, but not weird. I did not know that some people butter over the damn popcorn though, seems crazy.

I rarely ingest popcorn but if I have to choose I'll go with either sugar popcorn that has caramelised orange sweetness all over it or simply nothing. I also think I went to a movie theatre less times in my life than I had popcorn, way less. I can't even remember the last time I was at the movies, maybe it was 6 years ago? Idk.
I do like to put butter (and some salt) on a piece of bread and fry it, I like the crunch.
I had no internet for 6 or maybe 7 days and I "built" a music piece out of predefined sound bits in an app that was 17 minutes long. Unfortunately I have lost it somewhere.
That was years ago, and I have lost the ability to concentrate that much on things, I have lost the ability to read a book even earlier than that.
I'm with Apollo, there definitely needs to be a Butter Freak kind of popcorn. Also if you don't like root beer I have to ask that you try good root beer. If you've only had Barq's or Mug you've had the worst root beer. Get some 1910 or find a place that makes their's in-house. I'm not usually a snob about like cheap vs expensive with food but root beer is one of those things where quality really makes a difference.

No but like I love the taste of buttered popcorn, but for me I much prefer when the popcorn is butter flavoured, not when you put real butter on it. Because I don't want to grab some popcorn and then now my hand is slimy with butter. The butter flavoured popcorn is baked on so it's dry.

I would think the reason electric cars are controversial is because they do more damage to the environment compared to gas cars and are produced through slave labor
If you think the production of electric cars is worse than what millions of vehicles emit every single day then you need to look at some graphs... and also take some classes on analytics, critical thinking, logic, etc.
The slave labor issue is just for the mines and is way far away from the production process. Its still bad, though.
