I like Snowrunner a lot but sometimes the main gameplay loop of carrying massive cargo across a map (or across multiple maps) get tiring, especially as later cargo missions require many trips (or very creative workarounds like overloading/truck trains). The smaller delivery missions and scout gameplay of exploring/off roading is more fun, so Expeditions may be a better game for my preferences.
Honestly, I feel Expeditions could be a DLC. It seems like the same game, with too much recycled content from SnowRunner, yet they are charging full price for it.
recycled content is totaly normal in the industry why makeing new assets models and more if we already have it if we did that every time the games would even be more expensive
Eeeh I am gonna disagree. The world and maps in Expeditions are like 10x more detailed and real-life, natural feeling, physics are better in some regards, and for console players, the graphics are a huge step up.
@thurston383 as good as Mudrunner is, Snowrunner is Mudrunner with way more content to keep you busy for hundreds of hours. I loved Mudrunner but i beat all maps plus dlc in 40 hours.
the fact that snowrunner's night lighting is so dark is bc it's like that irl too and it can really feel like ur in an apocolypse, expeditions has got the night lighting looking great though as well, imo both games look just as good@@jwalster9412
Agreed. The sunrises and sunsets in Exp are WEAK. Most people don't realize they likely saved millions of dollars in development costs by making the day/night cycle FAR less realistic this time..
Expedition is like simulator gamer and its look more realistic than snowrunner.. you can see better reflection of water in expedition. Realistic mud pshysics and other.. Very good game
Not at all. The trucks are more stiff with less realism than ever before. No grip, no weight, I'm about 100 hrs into expiditions with over 2000 hrs in Snowrunner and I can say without a singular doubt that Expiditions is a soulless cashgrab of a game. It probably cost MILLIONS less to produce than Snowrunner did. People Got fleeced on expiditions, hard.
Snowrunner overall still hard to beat expedition its a kid near Snow , dont test with toys cars test with army trucks and long trucks both games...oh ok expetion dont have hehe

Cant believe how some guys didnt even notice how lazy and cheap that game is just made, it is all the same. no improvements still low poly and unrealistic ground simulation even the dashboard from car is the same: 3:34 wtf the devs from Saber Interactive didnt even bother themselves and copypasted textures. no worth to buy.
Depends! For me, the aesthetic and graphics in expedition are a bit better (Hate the foggy environment in SnowRunner). But for the gameplay, mission etc. SowRunner is better (Expeditions feels a little bit like an expansion rather than a completely new game. Still fun though!

Snow runner is too dark in my opinion. The brighter colors in expeditions are more pleasant and feel less like you are in the apocalypse.

Expeditions is literally just Snowrunner without the things that make Snowrunner fun. Why is $80 again?
Expedition the best.. is more like simulation offroad..
Expeditions is way more focused on the technical aspect as well you take damage way easier it feel in this game besides snowrunner
