My favourite track of the entire Surrender Of Silence album and love the horror like organ intro that really captures the nocturnal mood of a dark cathedral. Nothing but love and respect for Steve Hackett
Clearly classical trained musicians. Amazing music, Steve Hackett is a master, he and his band are fabulous, I saw them this year I will see them next years AGAIN

I saw him last night at Hammersmith - absolutely AWESOME!!
Always one of the greatest of the great guitar masters along more than 50 years and the true heir of the spirit of Genesis. That's true great progressive music still made today. And, as to myself, Steve has been one of the main inspirations of my present-day guitar playing, that only arised late in my life ( I'm 72... ). I thank him very much ! Note: and great keyboard work by Roger King !

Thinking 'bout their respective post-Genesis careers, especially for Gabriel, Collins and Hackett ... I begin to be convinced that in effect was Hackett, even more than Gabriel, who gave that typical color to the sound of their tracks. in short, to me he was the one that put in the most ideas: Hackett's brand, I'd say; once you've got, as well, what it means, listening to his own compositions like this one, then you can recognize his typical brand in really many Genesis' tracks
But the songwritting credits point to Banks and Gabriel. Hackett greatest contribution where the Guitar Solos and the insistance of buying a Mellotron. The ONLY albums where he played a mayor role where Selling England and Wind & Wuthering

Love it. Saw this tour last September, fantastic show. Less than four weeks to seeing them again 😃. There's one tiny bit that sounds like a bit of The Simpsons theme, and obviously, maybe a little tribute to Trevor Rabin's 'Owner Of A Lonely Heart' solo, maybe 😉

Sorry, but this is weak to my ears. No tune to speak of - where did your gift for melody go, Steve?? - and too many unrelated, disconnected bits of noodling. Everything you seem to write these days is just a succession of disparate bits. And Nad's done better than this.
