Excellent video, as always, in spite of the nasty weather (you managed to get some great footage last Friday when it was raining heavily, too)😀 It was the tall trooper from the Life Guards, who was a gateman during the weekend, that had the misfortune of having his helmet fall on the ground. Nevertheless, i think he did an EXCELLENT job at staying in the saddle, when the horse reared up 13 times (!!)😵💫 I counted them three or four times, just to make sure i get the right number. So 13 times the horse tried to rear up, out of which 1 time was a combination of rearing up (front feet)+bucking (back feet). That's when his helmet fell and it was only normal. It's almost impossible to keep in the saddle if less trained. Kudos to him to remaining calm and kudos to his colleague trooper for helping him put his helmet back on, that's amazing camaraderie. The CoH remained cool as always. Thank God it wasn't that dirty on the ground, with the rain washing the asphalt🙂 I guess the horsey didn't like the rain at all, that was quite a Monday tantrum/meltdown. There must have been something in the air, since one of the horses of the Blues did that as well (but not that dramatic) when they arrived, it was the horse of one of my favourite troopers from the Blues -> he later changed his horse when he came out as a boxman on the right side (his unsettled horse, when they arrived, had a white blaze on its forehead, while the horse he was on as boxman had no blaze). I've seen him control unsettled horses almost to perfection in several nasty situations in the past, he is a great equestrian with great horsemanship skills. He's famous for his "my horse, my rules" line😅😅
