Reminds me when at age 15 I asked my parents if I could go to a concert. My dad was like "yeah sure, but I want to see what all the ruckus is about!". So an awkward teenager and a 51 year old dude in random camping clothing show up to a Kataklysm/Cannibal Corpse (and some others I forgot) concert. And that old dude had a better time than me, because he just sat at the very back of the venue and a endless stream of random people came by to talk to him about how he likes metal (hint: he doesn't, but found it very amusing), whereas I was somewhat suffocated in the moshpit and couldn't even buy beer. I need to call my dad now...

Your dad is awesome. This is so wholesome. I used to upload tool covers on piano. And I would always record them and okay them at my grandparents house. They would have probably flipped if they heard the real music though. Very religious. But when you move something to a major key (or in my case transposing to a piano) seems to distill the beauty out of all these songs. I even made them enjoy ‘Hooker with a Penis’
