Please the video credit goes to Wison Nwane, I posted this video to dispute some negative narrative some people have toward South-East or Nigeria as a whole, there are so many other more beautiful places than this in the south-east

@@nenitafrica6851 Open drainages along the roads is not good for the general well-being of the society. The health hazards that comes from it is unacceptable for any civilized human being.
@@kelemedia2k4 Ok but you have to understand that the environments are different, the southern part of Nigeria has one of the heaviest and high volumes of rainfall in Africa, the force at which water moves or flow when it rains is so strong that you dare not obstruct it otherwise it will pull down everything on-site unless you made the gutters very big and you cant cover only the estate with a narrow gutter, then the water coming outside the estate that supposed to pass through the estate easily will be constrained to force itself through the narrow covered gutters and that can cause devastating erosion if you carefully observed you will discover that most of the places the gutter were covered they always make some holes and if you cover gutter without disinfecting it occasionally it can incubate germs but if it's open to the sunlight it might be difficult for germs that can seriously cause damages to survive if the gutters are always clean, I hope you can understand this little explanation, everybody like good things but there are some situations that you are powerless but if the original plan of the town or city came with covered gutters that is good cuz the water channels have already been mapped out and dont forget that those estates also work with quaified construction engineer
I know this area very well, it's called Udenwa estate close to New Owerri and world Bank area, Owerri is a hidden gem, growing rapidly lately, Aku ruo ulo at work here, as other Igbo men are busy buying and developing swamp area in Lekki, men who foresee the future are right here in blessed ala Owerri where the lands are flat and fertile doing our best so that our children can be proud of us in the new 20 years,

Nigeria get depth o, she's not a one or two urban places country like you get in many African countries, Nigeria is thick with developments. Love these Imo homes; we just need wider pavements and more vegetation, fruit trees. Thanks for sharing.

Why open gutter and no sidewalks in such a nice estate. We can’t continue to live with open gutter as if is ok!!
