I bought the A4000 from a miner for really cheap (after the mining crash). Something around 600 dollars (9 months ago or something like that). To my surprise when the GPU arrived at my home it turned out to be untouched. Not even unpacked once. Brand new. I asked the seller why he is selling those new GPUs for free he told me that he ordered and payed for them before the mining crash and that he has 30 of those sitting around doing nothing, so figured out that he may aswell sell them as soon as possible for the price of a 3060Ti before the used market gets flooded with post mining gaming GPUs.
@@hectororestes2752 Poland, but Im pretty sure you can find used A4000 GPUs and other GPUs in every online market place around the world. For example I saw some RTX 3090 cards for 700 dollars.
Hi Hector, as Bhomoaz answered, in almost every country you may find an online marketplace with second hand stuff. Here in Germany is eBay Kleinanzeigen. I can only recommend this GPU, still on my system.

Hello my friend. I have a ryzen 9 3950x with 64gb ddr4 ram and a rtx a4000. The graphics card doesn't take part in the solving process in fluent simple algorithm. Do you have an idea about why that happens? And can you please make a video about ansys fluent showcasing the rtx a4000?
Hola, a esas las puedes moldear y poner un disipador de 1 ventilador, bajan sus temperaturas y el ruido generado. También las pueden hacer shunt mod y obtener un rendimiento cercano a una 3080 pero con las ventajas de las memorias ecc y un poco menos de consumo. Son tarjetas increíbles, yo tengo una que uso para gaming pero que en unos meses regalaré a mi novia que está a mitad de carrera en arquitectura y su laptop ya va mostrando sus carencias. (no vi el vídeo completo porque iba de salida, así que no sé si mencionaste lo que comenté, pero en caso de que no sea así, lo dejo como curiosidad para alguien que tenga o esté interesado en una rtx a4000)

Fíjate, te pondré un ejemplo: Si tenemos una idea para diseñar una máquina seguramente diseñamos un bastidor con una forma específica pero seguro abran requerimientos termodinámicos, en ese caso que software me permitiría seleccionar esos requerimientos bien sea de selección de motor eléctrico con una holgura de potencia necesaria , determinar la selección de algún equipo que genere vapor saturado o sobre calentado necesario para el trabajo de la máquina que diseñamos, etc... Sería bueno a mí modo de ver hacer una ponencia del plan completo con un ejemplo y viajar por las plataformas como SolidWorks y/o algunos softwar complementarios para lograr el objetivo completo del diseño de la máquina y los servicios que ésta va a demandar ...inclusive se pudiera llevar a cabo en varias sesiones para ir al final de cada sesion con interesantes preguntas en casa etapa. Yo particularmente creo mucho en ti y en todas esas habilidades que pueden servir para un punto de partida a los que comenzamos a penas este camino. Inclusive me permito sugerir plantear varias propuestas y mediante votación elegir una de ellas ... No sé que te parece mi idea o que sugerencias tú cómo experto nos pudieras indicar. I just bought 1 for 450GBP, planning to pair it with an 8700k, but I am curious to see how you do the external stuff, would it work on Macbook pro? That would be cool because I have an i9 processor in there?
These cards are fast but they use very aggressive dithering and compression algorithm which compromises image fidelity, not good at all for color critical work with true 10bit monitors. Thats probably how they cheated to get the wattage so low.

Hola Luis, muchas gracias por tu comentario. Actualmente esoy utilizando una TV de 42". La LG C2. Es buenisima como monitor gracias a sus 120 HZ y OLED por supuesto. If your main focus is 3d rendering and professional work I would go with the a4000. The raw power of the card is closer to a rtx 3070, but the a4000 is made to be running 24/7 in a production enviroment. It will likely last you longer and you can buy one on the used market for less than the price of a used 3080. Plus you get the extra Vram which is good for larger or more complex renders.

fantastic card for the price. I'm using one of these for deep learning research and for the price you'll be hard pressed to get anything as good.
For CAD/rendering work and occasional gaming, this one seems a pretty good balance.
We have this card in our architecture office. It beats out the high end game cards we got for the other machines easily
