Thanks for sharing your insights. I have gotten different advice on sizing the G6's. Some have suggested 32+1.5, other goalie shops have fitted me in 33+1.5, which was the size of my Warrior GT2's. I'm 5'7", so interested in how you selected the 32+1.5?
Sorry for the delayed reply. I'm 5'9" I've used 32" since the 90's. I've played in 33, 34, and 35. I find 34 and 35 was too long, and the knee placement was off. So I found 32'1.5" the most comfortable fit and the top of the pads not too long and obstructive. I move very very well in them.

After some time off I've been sweet on grabbing a set of used GT's, but have been on the fence about sizing. Makes me feel a heck of a lot better about grabbing a set of 33/1 GT's.

I ordered the same setup, waiting on delivery but im super excited to try it out. I'm currently in some reebok 9k pads and 7k glove/blocker lol
They're great!!!! Beware the slide plate, that thing is crazy fast!!! I suck at stopping I keep sliding out of my crease!!!!

From what I've learned the softness and the angle of the bottom part of the pad that cover your skates can impact how high the pad rises.

my question is how do you arrange your boot strapping on your GT's, did you go under or behind your skate?
