One of the few youtube channels I watch all the way through. Really like that you throw tidbits and advice throughout and randomly. Appreciate your ability to connect and teach :)
My local saw shop has has a 562 on the shelf that someone ran less than half a tank through it and decided it wasn’t the saw they wanted. They have it listed for 699 but the kid that runs the shop has told me he can get it to me for a lot less and with a 28” bar and chain to boot. Much love BBR.
Brother, I just want to thank you for the wealth of knowledge that you share. I’ve been watching you for several years. If it wasn’t for you showing how to sharpen the chain so many times, with different ways, I’d still be struggling. Really appreciate you. I’m definitely an amateur and only done a couple hundred trees but there’s always so much more to learn
Brother that's a sweet saw. I have been wearing the 500I out doing tree jobs and land clearing. I have found a love for cutting trees and running power saws. Thank you for all the information you put on your channel I have learned a ton.
Oh yes. Pipes really wake up 562/572 saws. Like night and day. I was running full skip chain before installing a pipe. Now I can run full house high raker chain with no problems. Sister C filin, of course. Stay healthy, stay strong to the Buckin Army.
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith Great my friend. Seems easier for me to file. Follow the side plate per say. If I'm feeling frisky, I will use a worn out file and polish the tooth. Bleeding edge sharp. Holy smoke, she cuts. I've never thought of using a smaller diameter file. Amazing my friend ❤️ it, just ❤️ it.

Hi Buckin’! Thank you for your video, as usual it brings us Happiness and Joy! And motivation to Be Honest, Be Kind and Work Harder! I think the tree is 33 years old. Have a lovely day! Greetings from sunny Greece 🇬🇷 ❤️
Music to my ears! Love my 562 for a fast light zippy saw. The 372 has always been the standard and absolute work horse. Love Morgan's muffler mods. Just love watching you guys. Men, powersaws and sharing knowledge makes for a great experience. Paying close attention for tips on opening up the muffler on my original 281xp. Of all my saws she's the favorite. Keep up the good work guys!
C85 is good but too robust chain especially when felling trees down. I like S85 chain ( Germany market) it is half chisel chain. Pretty smoother but still enough robust. Made for dirty conditions. Good videos👏 greetings from Croatia 🇭🇷 ✌️
Great video. I'd guess the age of the age of the tree at about 32 years old. I've been a Stihl saw owner but will be purchasing a Husky 550 XP Mark 11 after watching your video and others comparing it to the Stihl MS 262. Thanks for your informative videos comparing saws and explaining technics on chain sharpening.
Awesome video with you and morgan!!! Just two good buddies in the bush getting it done...some of lifes most cherished times!! You guys make a great team!! Im gonna guess 31 on the rings of that little booger...i hope to be in the store soon to be in the running for that sweet saw!!! Great content brother!!
Morgan's truck is friggen sweet, and that blue truck of vartan's WOW I'd take that thing in a SECOND out here in mass they just don't exist like that in New England. And I was damn impressed the way the saw didn't bog down on the first fir tree you did, that chain is DIALED Guessing the little tree is 16 years old!
I love my new suspenders, they are exactly what I have been looking for. The Woodman’s Leather Ritual is great! Thank you for surprising me with the sample. I think the tree is 42
The one thing I wish my 460 could do is handle a 28" bar. I moved up from my old man's 20" to a 24". Absolutely love it. I feel like 28 is going to be the sweet spot. I've got my eye on this saw and the 572
23 on the little tree! Man that husky is sure sweet! Love the way you run a saw I have adopted some of your ways and not ashamed to share it with folks when they ask me where did you learn how to run a saw like that (Buckin Billy Ray I say)!
Hey Billy, with all the saws that you have ran and built and asked, can you build a saw starting over again from scratch? Can you do a video on a total rebuild of a saw with all the knowledge you have now basically have your buddy friend or somebody that builds saws build you the most extreme horsepower saw you’ve ever had just curious if you can do a video of what I’m talking about. If you can reply with more details of any questions you have for the video I’m asking for do you have some friends that can build with no problem the most extreme crazy ridiculous power did any factory saw company they can make I think your friends have a lot of talent and you guys can produce a saw that will give the wow factor
Smooth is fast/productive. Yeah I didn't comment on that other video with the grabby chain, we've all been there...well anyone who cuts enough. The grabby chain can be rakers which is easily fixed with a filing or the the inner top plate is way aggressive with a side plate that's not a smooth ( shape. Often holding the file too low. 562 is pretty hot rodish off the shelf. Good chain is vital.
thanks for the kind words Buckin have been watching your channel for over 7 years learned so much .on the filing journey now. Thanks so much.@@BuckinBillyRaySmith
You mentioned that a chisel chain is hard to sharpen by hand and you showed the machine you use. What kinda chain sharpener should I look for? Thanks so much for taking the time to show us how to file.
I really enjoy this content Buckin'. I have a Stihl 362 and have thought they are a good saw assuming you aren't in big wood (28" +). I know you have a 362 that was given to you and you don't prefer it or at least didn't compared to your 70cc class of saws last time you used it. I would love your thoughts on a comparison between the 562 and 362 given they are similar in displacement. Keep the love flowing strong brother! 42 years.
Is Morgan going to make more pipes for sale he has a gift I would love one of his pipes just saying 💪 Morgan was loving it running that saw . You should try that muffler on the 572 and see ya
Interesting question I have recently fell in love with a 266 my newest favourite saw someone blew it up and give it to my brother luckily no cylinder damage he threw a meteor piston in it and give it to me was easy on er for a few tanks but now she has settled in just give er all she’s able lol love the 266 wouldn’t mind throwing a pipe on er if I could ever find someone to make one a good race with this newer stuff would be cool to see have a peaceful weekend sir ✌️❤️🌲🪵🪓🐝
I say that little tree is 27 years old. Man i would love one of those mufflers. Dont have a welding machine also i dont know how to weld, so i guess it dont matter anyways.
Those two saws running wide out together is beautiful harmony to the ears. That sound made me smile.😊
Glad you enjoyed it

My guess is 27 years old. Thank you for all you do teach us how to cut wood.

You mentioned that a chisel chain is hard to sharpen by hand and you showed the machine you use. What kinda chain sharpener should I look for? Thanks so much for taking the time to show us how to file.
I did say chisel chain is hard to file . You might mean square filing
Great stuff Buckin 🤙🏼 thoughts on a 562xp torque not the mark2 version?
So sorry didn’t realize what the video said at the end.
Sounds great. Great video sir. I watch your channel and a channel called (guilty of treeson) lovely tree work
Does it sound as good in person as it does on screen??? Cu that’s just amazing and might even top you and the boy running the Macs together.
Awesome 👌
62 years old! Cut with a 562 saw!
ha ha
Will you be interested in selling one of the 562s when you are finished with it?
Buckin can’t wait for 2025 Husqvarna bring out diesel chainsaw with straight pipe on it . Probably but a 3 stage Jake brake on chain . 😮

Buckin would you say that stock Saw would outcut the older 266. It sure reminds me of those beautiful Saws.

good chain speed on those
