I dunno about this one, Rav... I've been using the normie Opera for a few years now and just a few minutes ago I had to issue a support ticket, because these idiots removed the "fast tab tooltip" flag from the current version... I don't need the f*cking browser to list out every tabs of youtube videos when I hover over one of them, but I guess they know it better...
As someone who has some sort of connection with opera... could you tell them to fix their fkcing browser? I stopped using it because there is an error literally everytime you open it which says opera failed to load your profile so you have to log-in again and again everywhere, everytime. So annoying I rather never use opera again.
It's almost as if content creators can play more games than they upload and just pick the ones that make them look good. They could never do that though

I actually suck at the game as I exclusively play tahm and I'm still bad with him and I had a game yesterday. That one game would make me look like a genius because I misclicked and actually went around a Sett instead of attacking him. My teammates ending up coming and killing him right as I was getting pummeled because it was a sett and it was honestly a bad idea to come to him. But anyways, back to walking around sett. At that point there was no way I was going to win so I just hoped my teammates came in time. It just so happened that the sett used attacks and I just kept dodging his abilities by going around him.
Point is that I could've recorded that and said "why you put "x" boots on tahm"

Never thought I'd see the day when Rav was out here shilling for Riot and maintain the facade. This video is proof that not only are my games being sabotaged by Chinese casino companies, but Riot deliberately cultivates false flag content creators like Rav to make it seem like I'm not the only one.
Personal head-canon: the only real thing that our conspiratorial commenter was missing was that it mainly occurs in _low_ Elo, regardless of whether or not a person is a content creator. Our boi Rav here is not a high Elo player meaning he falls victim to it as well.

this is legit 90% of league players, when they can't put the blame on their team, they leave before their egos gets damaged. I swear is not that hard to say "My bad" or "Crap I trolled that"
in every of the last 3 clash tournaments I played on I only won 1 game out of 3 because my friends would tilt hard after loosing just one, quit the team and go cry in a corner about why their teammates are holding them off from reaching diamond in solo queue.
That is the best part, the only diamond player I know is chill af.
and that is kinda the reason of why I'm only playing 1 game of league per day or two, my life wasn't this good ever before, I totally recommend it.

@@alang.2054 This is just plain false. When I still played many years ago, I had two accounts, one was in Diamond, the other was in gold. Funny thing is, in Diamond, I was holding my own, winning, and even slowly advancing.
But the account in high gold? Couldn't get it up because nearly every match had a minimum of 2 feeders and usually a 3rd that either disconnects or just overall refuses to play the game.
I didn't belong in gold as evidence by the Diamond account that was playing against other diamonds, holding my own and even advancing higher slowly. Yet, getting the other account out of gold was nearly impossible.
Elo hell is very much a thing, it always has been, players are responsible for making bad choices as well, except more often than not, it is actually the other members of the team that make it impossible to win. The fact that you need to play at a Grandmaster level or Challenger to get past the elo hell is insane.

There are patented systems of game ranking and team placement that maximize “retention” of players. They 100% are controlling the outcomes of some games for this reason. Just not in all of the ways this person was saying.

Well it is true that league intentionally tries to stop your winstreaks by giving you better opponents and worse teammates
You can tell just by looking at the winrate of your team, the enemy team and match history for the last 3 games. In season 11 I went from 86% winrate as a jungler in gold 1 to 47& winrate in gold 1. My winrate dropped like I had a nuke dropped on me. Because of all the losses I was getting and what I consider troll team mates, I was so tilted I couldnt even play without being the troll and feeder I would bitch about. After a week or 2 of trying to get out of gold I just quit the game for the year and low and behold the same thing is happening this year but for silver. I'm not saying none of the losses are my fault, I definitely contribute to some losses, but its funny how when I'm not the one carrying the game is a loss. This is a consistent trend across my 30 day history.
Trick to manipulate league, if you loose 1st game dont play again for that day.
this is true the matchmaking system is designed to try and make everyone have 50% wr except its not some huge conspiracy it's just designed that way so people get addicted and don't quit the game after reaching their goal in a week for example in something like cs go winning a lot of games puts u with higher-ranked players but also gives you WAYY more lp or the cs go equivalent of it per win and based on how well u personally do in that game, for example, u can still rank up even if u get a tie but since in cs go 1 good player has way more impact on a win than league u can climb insanely fast, for example, I personally went from being hard stuck in gold 1 for 2200 hours on a shitty laptop in cs go to getting Legendary eagle master in 50 hours after buying a new pc and a 144hz monitor even though u get harder enemies if ur good enough u climb fast since even loses barely slow ur climb down if u played well the game u lost not in league tho it doesn't matter if ur playing against challengers as a silver and going 20/0 ur still gonna get 15 lp per win
I basically just want to say that league ranked system is complete garbage and is extremely basic for such a big game cs go has a very complicated MMR system that no one except the creators knows how it works and I love it it feels like I rank up not because I got lucky to get a good team and win a game but because I personally am playing better than other people in my rank
Well yeah… the game tries to get you to about 50% wr, for multiple reasons. it’s good business to make the game difficult and therefore more rewarding when you win (50% of the time), it’s also good for ranked because no team on either side has a better then 50% predicted wr so it’s down to individual and team skill if you win/lose instead of it being a giant team diff, it’s also more fair because everyone more or less has the same chance of winning. We have to remember it’s a team v team game where each team has 5 players, so you have to do something to make things fair. in a game like chess this is easy, just play with the same rules and make sure opponents are of similar skill/ranking and you’re golden, but in a game like league with dozens of known variables, and 10 un predictable/unknown variables (I.e the players) it’s impossible to make each game completely fair so they opt for the game to be on average fair, instead of individually fair, this means over 100-500-1000 games you will on average have fair games but if you look at each game in a vacuum you will have some that are extreme examples like stompy games where the opposing team lost in champ select and vise versa
I don't know if you guys are being serious or not. But I'll ask for details anyway. I am by no means a great player, but I had a good streak going early in the season and then was met with a strange 10+ game lose streak where every game I had the strangest most toxic teammates. I brushed it off as extremely bad luck. But it was REALLY weird. I very very rarely ever have toxic teammates and I pretty much only chat when when my jungler helps my lane (just a "ty") so I don't think it's my fault. Pretty abruptly this all stopped and I had normal teammates again.
Do they actually try and force winrates around a range? is losers queue not just a myth?

You do realize there are people who spend hours and hours of time playing Co-op vs. AI in order to rank an account to 30 using only the free champion given at the start of the game (and other free-week-rotation options) so that they can sell it, don't you? Riot trolls all of us. It is completely non-discriminatory when distributing the D. Rav has literally made his career flourish by making fun of the degenerates in his team. Now I haven't been Diamond ever since my final year of High school and now Uni so I can't say how High elo feels these days but back when I played they were still idiots, inters, afkers( cuz why play out a game where the enemies are all D1 and won't throw away their lead. Now I am all washed up in High Gold- Plat since my life takes priority but the issues are still here.
So there is no one fucking your specific game. The system has multiple flaws and they are present in everyone's games in every elo to the end of times.
I mean, this is kind of how mmr based matchmaking works in team based games. It's not "riot" it's literally just basic multiplayer mechanics. It of course tries to keep you where it thinks you should be. This can obviously be overcome, but it doesn't change that system doesn't want you to climb... If everyone climbed easily diamond+ would no longer be even remotely special

Whoever made the post obviously has never watched a SRO or hashinshin stream. Hardcamp ganked 6+ times before 10 minutes, enemy jungle gets fed while ally jungle dies botlane to mid roam and then bot dies while mid is afk midlane not even hard shoving. Keep in mind hashinshin is grandmasters and THIS STILL HAPPENS TO HIM CONSISTENTLY. Reddit kids never cease to amaze me in their stupidity, they will say the most degen shit and then have “facts” to back it up, which it’s always “their own data that they have collected” as a niche and not even considerably novice data collector instead of using actual statistical data or even doing something as simple as LITERALLY LOOKING ANYTHING UP ONLINE (like at a streamers steam and seeing them lose game after game for literal 5-6 hours in a row and by the 7th hour is when they finally get a win in). For people that are unfamiliar, this isn’t some scheme, you are literally put into different queues and league has about 5 of them if I’m correct, troll/toxic queue (after being punished in some sort of way), losers queue, winners queue, smurf queue, and the newly released champions queue. If you experience a lot of losses, that’s legit because you are in losers queue, not because riot is single handedly targeting you, but your queues that you are placed in are OFTEN determined by how you played in previous matches. Ergo this degen of a Reddit kid is probably hardstuck silver 3 riven/irelia/akali player that cries about “being THE BEST carry on the team” while you have “bad teammates”. Funny how it’s always those 3 champion users that say those exact words…
Literally watched a Hash game where mid Viego blindly pushed mid while enemy Gallo mid constantly ganked Hash top Aatrox so much that Viego was lvl 6 while Gallo was lvl 3 and he still lost the 1v1

Just want to point out that "Champion's Queue" is actually a different server and is _waaaaaaaay_ different from SoloQueue.
You know the thing about losers queue? It learns YOUR habits. So I've decided to game the game, and make it think losses are against my Geneva conventions, so I up and quit for the day when I get a loss, swap to a different account, and continue. So far it's going well, but I'm still pretty new.
Like I've LIVED it. No one can tell me that rank is not rigged. I cannot express how well I play and how abysmal my teammates play on a consistent basis.
Actually I can express it. When the end of the years stats came out my stats were equivalent to grandmaster stats across the board besides in vision which was gold. I have those stats and I'm in silver ( Now I'm not saying I'm at grandmaster level unable to get out of silver, I'm aware that me achieving those stats against much inferior competition does not put me on their level) though it is a very good indicator that I'm doing everything right and progressively getting better.
I stopped playing league about two years ago and it was due to nearly a month long of me playing games where my bot was averaging 3/30. I literally showed my brother when I had him over and we had a good laugh about the consistency of me being plagued by abysmal bots.
I am in plat. I routinely get people who struggle to use the item shop. But never on enemy team, that only happens to mine.
Of course I report them asking whoever reads that to send the poor soul back to tutorial, but they didn't ask to be there either, it's just the pure evil matchmaking that put them there to ruin my chances.

The truth is that there is a hidden MMR system and its designed to balance games. At least this is what they say. I don't know much about it, other than. When I hit a win streak. Its often followed by people who bought their accounts. People who will go 3 and 15 in lane. AFKs, soft inting, rage apes or people who disconnect. Not sure why this is the case, but I have often thought and this is pure speculation. Riot gives you people to carry and spreads as much of the losing people over winning accounts as possible. Cause if they allowed these people to just sink to the bottom. Those people would get frustrated and leave. Losing them customers. As I say, pure speculation.

There actually it's a huge issue with ranking and matchmaking but it's essentially impossible for developers to fix. In the Elo hell divisions people will actually have the hugest skill gaps in between them compared to higher and lower divisions. In most cases that is around gold.

I'm only level 33, and I am not good at the game. I play support and whenever I wanna play top...well...I have to fight people who know wtf they are doing. If I play anything that isn't support, expect me to not get positive.
I just want riot not to pair me up with people over level 200 who have mastery 7 on every bloody character who also know the ins and outs. I just wanna learn, and beinb battered and bruised from step 1 is not a helping tool.

I mean technically speaking, riot does rig games as theyve said multiple times. 40% of your games are a guaranteed win, 40% are supposed to be a guaranteed loss and the 20% are supposed to be a grey area that are based on your impact on the game, although it does sound kinda bs now that ive typed it out
The only players getting any kind of unbalanced attention/care are the highest elos and competitive levels. They tune/balance champs based on how the best players might abuse them, and pit 0 effort into solving low/mid/high but not highest elos biggest issue: toxic community. Period. Almost every issue with LoL comes down to it's player base. Time to bite the bullet and start permabanning IPs, not just accounts. Apparently mid elo (gold, diamond) buy the most skins, though, so they are reasonably afraid that getting rid of the worst players will also be getting rid of the ones with unregulated access to mommies credit card. The "I get what I want or i will shit directly into my own computer" type is the same person who ffs at 2 minutes because he didnt get the kind of leash they prefer. I think it comes down to the very real conclusion that Riot Games has no clue what they are doing whatsoever. They have been gaining experience and learning for 10+ years and yet they NEVER try to change how they do things. It's apparent across EVERY SINGLE game that they "made" (Stole)

You see this kind of reasoning in a lot of conspiracy theorists. They're so fixated on something that if you disagree with it and use reasoning and evidence to disprove them, you're either "Part of the problem" or "Haven't researched enough/spreading hate or targeting them."
These people also exercise a ton of confirmation bias whenever they do any "research" or "experiments."
Groups of conspiracy theorists can also evolve into cults, but that's fairly rare.
Have you played the game for 10 years plus? If not, you may not be a veteran with the experience to speak of or go off of. Have you done your own research into the game and seen for yourself?
@@mathisblair2798 I have. I've been playing since late 2011/early 2012 and have personally known people who played it even before me. Riot may be a terrible company and have very questionable decisions but that doesn't mean conspiracy theories are automatically valid.
From the early days of Pendragon to their various law suits and testimonies of workers, I can say for certain that riot has never been a paragon of virtue.
Still, they are innocent in accusations until proven guilty, so conspiracy theories have no place.

NGL this guy makes a lot of sense. I lose 75-80% of games I play in Silver. I have the research to back up this guys claims. Every time I am pushed up far mid and my whole team is in base the enemies seem to know and 5 man gank me! So unfair. Then when I am solo lane pushing top the jungler will always gank me! Then when I am in the enemy jungle placing wards after killing the big bug that destroys towers, they always find and gank me! This game is unfair. Content creators never have losing games! I watched 500 content creators games last week and only 3 games were lost. How is that possible? All the games were in Silver-Gold. I checked.

1) win/lose streaks: after winning 3 games in a row, your teammates will start getting worse and worse to the point it's absurd.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news Rav-this theory was unironically proven correct months before it came out by Riot Games themselves whenever they introduced and told us about their concept of "Smurf Queue". Notice how that "Smurf" accounts are in no way directly connected to "Main" accounts and so how on earth could Riot possibly _know_ that a player is "Smurfing"? The simple answer is that they _cannot_ know due to the fact that _there is no connection;_ therefore their system just guesses that players doing well are "smurfing" and have to be punished for it.
I kind of feel like there is truth to this, because Riots "way" of fixing smurfs is to try and balance your W/L and MMR (something they've openly said they do) to 50%. It makes it impossible for your average players to climb, only the top 1000-10000 players of the game can climb past the "smurf" wall. And people will say that just means they're better than everyone else, which I will agree and say is true, but I feel like I shouldn't get to 75% win rate one tricking Kayle, then I get like 5 games in a row with afk's or heavy feeders to balance my win/loss, and then my MMR suffers so my LP gains suffer, my LP gains average out, my W/L averages out, my MMR averages out, then its like impossible to climb.
I will say I learned a HUGE trick that helps you climb easier though from Iwilldominate, he said that if you KNOW a game is going to be a lost game aka you have troll picks or someone is playing a champion they lose non stop on, USE AN ADDON to check their W/L with that champ, and if you know its a loss, DODGE THE GAME. If you dodge the first time its only -4 LP and 0 MMR loss as opposed to losing like -15 LP and massive MMR loss. Another good tip, although its VERY toxic, is if you know you're going to lose a match, you can troll all game and try to force your teammates to afk because if you do, you'll get loss mitigation (tons of KR/Chinese players do this).
@@ramuses4968 It's too bad you gotta rig your plays to balance the rigs. And this is pretty widely known too/thought about/talked about by many in the community. It's nothing at all new. So it's like are those who climb past the skill block truly the best? Or is their challenger stuck somewhere in horde mode with never ending waves of bs.....

On a serious note, I do think that the matchmaking system is designed in a way to at least lightly push you towards a 50 percent win rate. This makes you have to play more often, hence why win streaks are followed by loss streaks even on separate days.

that 3 wins = 1 loss thing is kinda a thing... you can chalk it up to a crap matchmaking system but it happens more if you win more....
if i go on a "winstreak" then they put me on a team with a bunch of bronze players and put me vs a team of gold players....
literally... even those overwolf apps say win chance thing is like 30% for my team. 70% for enemy team...
like why is it 2 silvers and 2 gold players and a plat .... vs my team which is 3 bronze players a silver and me... who is unranked (probably silver1 elo) ...
if you apply a number for every 1 elo... they gapped my team score hard...

Although clearly wrong, dude is right about the winning 3 games, then getting stuck with god awful teammates. Riot match making is set up to give you worse and worse teammates, if you go on a winning streak, i think.
Its the same in runeterra. I'm masters and I've documented with plenty of evidence that when a win rate gets to certain percents on a deck you magically start drawing unplayable for a lengthy time. I used math and several hours of video and screen shots on two different accounts to prove it haha. Some stuff is definitely up with riot

When I started this season. It was inn I think Bronze 2 or 3. Very easily and very quickly, I shot up to Silver 2, 80lp. And after a week or so now. I've plummeted down to and been stuck at Silver 4 due to having nothing but bad teams.
Now a lot of people's first reaction could instantly be "Well it's probably your fault."
Please, tell me how an enemy top or Jg going 12/0 with full map control is the fault of a support who's only died maybe 3 times. With a 0/6 adc who dives, a Jungle who idly farms, and a top who's well behind. :I This has been 90% of my games. And I swear it's because Riot is glueing me to this elo. Which, really isn't fair to the Bronze 1's I keep going against and humiliating lol

EA actively implemented rigged matchmaking into one of their games and admitted it, with an algorithm that tried to make the matches frustrating enough for you to not be satisfied and continue playing, but not too frustrating so you wouldn't leave. Thinking that Riot would do the same thing, especially considering they refuse to release any data on how their matchmaking works, and how much losing streaks and winning streaks happen with games where you have no control and you just can't believe that those people are all supposed to have approximately the same mmr... It's not much of a stretch.
Sure Riot is not actively completely stopping you from climbing, but thinking that they intentionally make it take much longer than it would if the algorithm was 100% fair, while still making climbing possible, as a way to keep you around for longer (which means faster queues and more chances for you to spend money on skins), is not far fetched at all. On the contrary, thinking that a huge company like Riot would have great morals and refuse to do it when they released shit like Seraphine and keep doubling down on their failures (200 years meme, using data from ARURF to justify their bullshit claims on "item diversity"....) is the more nutjob thinking.
