I got one and you would think it lights up so you can see the time and date but it’s dark. The light button doesn’t do it any better can’t see it that great either.

Still unclear how to set up the Alarm.

You need to press the button at the bottom left of the watch, until you find the "AL" mode in the small digital screen at the top. You have 5 alarms, including the "Snooze" mode, placed in the last position. The latter will ring every 5 minutes.
