- Solite surf booties claim to have a "barefoot feel".
They are heat molded so you get 1 size small and stretch them with heat.

I've been using these for three different sets four seasons... You need size 10. They only stretch so far... They are a very good company and will switch them out for you... One more thing Kyle... Just like other wetsuit articles (do not dry in sun!!) Except these actually shrink back to their original size .
if you dry them in the Sun or with heat /fireplace /blow-dryer/... I would love to surf with you .if you're ever in Encinitas.
I am using these boots for 2 winters now. very high quality, dry really fast, definitely worth the extra money
That’s great! I forget to mention how much warmer they were too
what about stingray?
how cold is the water you surf.?
The idea of being molded perfectly to your feet is great but compared to a high end toe boot with an arch strap I did not find them any better. What I do like a lot is there are hardly any seems to leak so they are warm and have lasted well. The full rubber coating over the front of the foot is durable too, I tend to drag my front foot as I pop up which wears out booties. Back when I bought mine they only came in fluorescent green and orange, no plain black. I kind of feel dorky with the fluorescent green so I have not used them as much as I would have. The top of the boot is really tapered down which keeps water out but makes them hard to get on and off.
Ah ya great insight. I’ve had lots of boots where the sole came off at the toe. So these seem much more durable
They do feel really good and they do have a big toe separator. However I find myself having to remold them every winter otherwise they sort of shrink. And when I do mold them I make sure I wear big thick socks. I’d be curious to know if other people have experienced the same issue.
Yup. I find that they do shrink and they become uncomfortable and hurt the front of my feet during a long session. I’ve given up on the whole buy one size down and stretch to fit. Instead, this season I bought my normal size and my feet are a lot happier.
Do they have a big toe separator? I’m not a big fan of booties wirh that piece in between the big toe.
Nope they don’t have that. I don’t like that either
What do you mean they don’t? All my Solite Pro boots have a big toe separator. Edit: oh, I see you have the Custom model and not the Pro.
How thick are they? Is 7mm available? I"m in Maine.
These are 7mm. They come with 1mm socks you can wear too to make it 8
8mm. I live in Nova Scotia and use these. The ones I have came with heat booster socks as without them the rubber keeps them cold. The are great for rocky spots as the bottoms are fairly thick. I also have a pair of 3mm for rock spots during Hurricane season
Mine had straps with them and I tore one off with my leash in some heavy surf. For the price I doubt I’ll buy them again.
