Anakin is so power obsessed what an amazing twist of fate, I agree jealousy is a big factor for Anakin doing what he did. I can see in part 2 him killing Padme and after that he realizes how wrong he was.

I actually believe that Anakin would of fallen faster without Padme. In the clone wars and novelization, it is said that Padme is always there for Anakin when Anakin is having troubles as she is someone he can talk to. Padme has repeatedly calmed him down and is a major reason why Anakin stayed in the Jedi order; he was doing it for her. Without Padme, Anakin would of felt lost and would have been very susceptible to the dark side. It is even said that Palpatine was annoyed that Padme kept Anakin so calm and felt that she was a threat to his plan, just like Qui Gon was.
That's why Yoda is so old however telling anakin fear leads to the dark side did nothing to bad

I think George Lucas considered a love triangle at the end, but felt it would be too corny. I agree....bringing the whole Vader character based on a love triangle seems tacky. I'm glad they did it the way they did. But for a fanfiction, I think it works great. And I agree jealousy is better for the dark side than love. But maybe that's why he lost in the movie, while he won in the fanfic.

Can someone explain to me how Anakin believed Obi-Wan and Padme were having an affair even though he said to Palpatine before that he trusts Amidala, and then when Padme said that Obi-Wan only came over because he felt there was something with Anakin, he didn't believe her? I feel like there wasn't a detailed explation on how how this makes sense if I am being honest.
To answer your first question, Anakin did indeed say he trusted Amidala, but that trust likely changed when she decided to break up with him.
To answer your second question, I feel like Anakin didn't believe Padme because of the same reasons he didn't believe her on Mustafar. On Mustafar, Padme said that she didn't bring Obi Wan to kill Anakin, but at this point Anakin's thinking was warped and thought that the Jedi were conspiring against him. All signs pointed towards what he thought, and if you were in that situation, you would have thought the same. All of this was done because of Palpatine's manipulation.

@@lewok4834 Well, on Mustafar, Anakin trusted Padme more than he did here in this story. Still, he did not believe Padme due to his blind rage and intuition. As a matter of fact, the novelization states how Anakin wanted to "Shut her lying mouth".

If I could answer it; it would be What if Anakin was trained by Qui-Gon. Because he would be the most likely to let Anakin be himself and express what is on his mind; while everyone else would be less so
