a casual 43.98 400m jog, I do the same every morning. Highly recommend.
hahaahahahaha
Yep , every 'early morning' in your dreams .
hahahaha same here bro
@@nicoleflowers4992 ,how in the world did you wiggle out of that straight jacket to type such rude comments you dog faced , cat- fart breath troll. Foh
Derek Lmao your lame. Why are u talking like Shakespeare?
Can we just appreciate for a moment that Haroun went from last to 3rd in the final 100m
Oh wow, didnt notice that. Thats really impressive
As innnnn, wow!👏
He ran like that finishing line was the last Bus home and if he missed it, he had a 20 km walk ahead of him in freezing rain. I wonder how often he employs that strategy? 🙂
May his soul RIP.
even in the semi finals you can see him doing a come back. i think he even qualified for the finals as the fated loser if i remember correctly@@paulgerardhosty9909
Wayde slowed down at the end like it was a light workout 😂
FOR REAL I was like WOOOOW😅
😂 like come on lads
No Norman to try to run down, as that would not likely happen even in WVN's best form.
I would think because if he brake the world record he would make mor in the Olympics
He start to slowdown at the last 50m
5:10 you see everyone dead on the floor and Wayde still standing like nothings happened 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
Proud to be South African 🇿🇦
I'm here for it ha haa haaa
😭
Then just imagine the power he has, and do u know 400m is 1 on the toughest event, WAYDE VAN NIEKERAN is the most handsome athlete i have ever seen...trust me
Even looks right at them thinking “pathetic”
That's a hilarious shot. Literally everyone was on the floor
🤯 He slowed down at the end and still did 43.98? That's crazy! 🔥
He couldn't go any faster. Lactic acid took over. Have u ever ran the 400m?
Wtf. This man stopped running like 10m out
Ikr he always does it
@@nilsbuehlmann6655 He doesn't "always" do it. In 2015 World Champs and 2016 Olympics he ran all the way through.
He’s relaxed look at usains world record he was also in that state
he was saving some energy for the 200m which he got a silver from
some times theres jsut no more gas in the tank
Rest In Peace abdalela Harouni, a young talent was just just cut short
RIP Haroun of Qatar May Allah (swt) show you mercy my brother
He passed away?
@@chicnoir29 yes ma'am, about 3 weeks ago in a car accident 😔
@@OneMoMile - So sad. I hope he RIP.
It’s gonna be interesting to watch him and Norman in Tokyo
Surprised Wayde hasn't broken 43 seconds since this race
@@Eric-lx8hp everything takes time duh
@@Eric-lx8hp He tore his ACL pretty badly playing rugby. We just need to have faith in him and hopefully he will come back just as strong, or stronger. He's definitely my favorite runner of all time
Def think Norman can beat him
@@sebastianbastard270 I don't think so
The guy in red Haroon who came third was really impressive as he got the slowest time going into the final and being a fastest loser but look at him at 300m he is last place and has an incredible kick to almost finish second only a few hundreds behind Gardiner
May he rest in peace :(
great performance!
400m world record has to be the most impressive sprint record
nope cuz its already under threat
Clos MasMas I got the 100m being the most impressive followed by the 400m hurdles...
It isnt. 800m is more impressive distance
@@malligrub 100m sprint is good indeed. but the 400m is also a sprint. I doubt if 42.7 is a correct number
@@matthijsvanemous7046 Certainly the 400m is a sprint, no question and I was actually being conservative. When I re-checked The IAAF scoring system 9.58s (1356 points) is statistically actually equated to;
42.55s - 400m
12.50s - 110H
19.16 - 200m
45.66s - 400H
Only Jan Zelezsny's incredible javelin throw is rated higher.
That's how ludicrously fast that performance is. It sort of makes sense when you consider how we all felt watching that race, it was like '9.58? that's not possible!'
Smoothest and easiest 43 ever!? Did he even try?
Clemens Weber yes
43.xx*
I'd say his 43.62 From Lausanne is slightly easier
Man. I miss Wayde. T+F is just not the same without him. Hope he is back in Doha racing against Michael Norman.
Erhardt Gerber Hope he will be fully recovered and doesnt become like Yohan.
Cactus Y let’s hope Kirani James is also back to full fitness
@@cactusy9332 what happened to yohan?
@@roddyregister9455 He got injured and he was never the same. He was the best Jamaican sprinter in the world besides Usain Bolt at one point
@@vamsigollapalli1333 Hopefully he gets it back. He was right there with usain bolt
0:20 Wayde entered so humbly
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
World record holder
did anybody noticed at 4:28-4:43 the comeback of the athlete in the red dress 😳🔥 ? (lane 3)
Tim Winter notice*
Actually Haroun's tactic like he did during won asian games 2018
Mans went from last place to Bronze Medalist.
What a finish!
Ya he’s got some finishing speed but he doesn’t have the strength or the stride of a 400 guy to run up with those guys
wow.....the third finisher is amazing! what a come back!
Here to show some love to Wayde Van Nikerk 😍😍 very proud of this man
@Bantze Hotep What do you mean? Gardiner, Norman and Kerley are no joke.
Wayde I'm praying for your comeback🙏
I hate that you guys post videos two years later

'15, '16, '17, '23, '24 WVN
Imagine being so good that you actually slow down and still get 1st. Amazing
Haroun's finish is ridiculous!!
He is no more with us , died in a car crash
@@abhisheknath8597 you should choose your words
I am crying even now. Wayde you had an injury but this will be so soon if you leave. Please come back! There is no 400m without you. We love you !!
Wayed is a legend. When he is there, others could only dream of silver medal.
He loves those outside lanes bruh
Yea & that is rare!!!
I think when u know u are the fastest u don’t really care about how fast others run
Van Nekerk is going to remain the track king for at least the next ten years! Good luck!!!
Good luck with that prediction Munoko .
Unfortunately, fate intervened and he picked up a bad injury and he's not the same athlete ever since. Still, no one can ever take away his World Record performance at Rio 2016.
Well done HAROUN from 🇶🇦 Qatar in your last 100 meter, I wish you the best in Tokyo .
And this is my second comment after one year of my first comment, I would like to offer my condolences to the family of the late Qatari 🇶🇦runner Abdul llah who lost his life by- car accident- in qatar . 😔.
Rip
Niekirk's winning time in the final :43.98........Steven Gardiner's semi-final time at this meet was 43: 89 I think this silver medal is a huge accomplishment for Mr.Gardiner who at one point in this race had.the lead. Congrats to all .Great run !!
If he hadn’t slowed down at the end he may of broke his own record what a great runner anyway 43 and not even his all
Congratulations Gardiner from The Bahamas !
Rest in peace, Haroun.
recover fast champ from injury
everyone laying down after the run but he is like I am chilling let's go again
Tnx for all best video iaaf
Wayde...you are just a GOD!
He is scary fast, plus he keeps it the whole 400
Truly the most beautiful form I’ve ever seen
He may never lose this race lol. These guys are machines, I'd be dead after that initial turn. Salute!
HAROUN!!! The guy was dead last with about 80 meters to go and nicks a bronze medal. Unreal.
Wayde van Niekerk!!
South Africa. XXX
The bronze medal Abdalelah Haroun has died today at the age of 24 in a car accident ( RIP ) .
Wow RIP Haroun.
Rest in Peace, young man. Only last week a close friend of mine shared with me how another young man was killed in a motor accident, literally, outside her house. She was pretty shaken up, unsurprisingly. She didn't know the young man. People, drive carefully. Don't take unnecessary risks. It's not worth it.
My favourite athlete.. ❤️❤️❤️
Wayde representing our country 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 no one will stop u
Imagine how famous he would be if he was american
Or Jamaican
we love u wade
I love you running
I love the “and there was some competition….at one point….” Comment trying to make it even sound close.
okay but the last 100 of Haroun (QAT) tho
hes had a couple of last minute surges, even in the 2016 indoors, I wonder if he could sprint out earlier and run a 43.9 or faster
Because he took it easy for 300...LOL.
@@efisgpr may he Rest In Peace .
@@salimsalama6897 yes he is no more

Thanks
Finally uploads the video
Attn: IAAF .....Your race commentator did a splendid job .Hope she is back for this year' s championship.
Comments all talking about van Niekerk, but this might have been one of the greatest final 100m I've ever seen from Haroun of Qatar.
May he rest in peace :(
Last man standing.. WVN💪🏾
Stunning
haroun came like a madman in the final straight.
Great job Stephen Gardiner.
Wayde hope to see you 2020
Wade van neikerk vs Michael Norman is going to be legendary
He's supurb he won comfortable 2021 am here despite the lock down and all that .
To me, the best 400m runner ever.
People emphasize that he won in the outside lane, I'm starting to believe its longer than all the other lanes
ALL PARTICIPANTS IS PRACTICE FULL, TECHNICAL FULL, STAMINA FULL, STRONG FULL, ENERGY FULL AND POWERFUL................
IN THIS SITUATION WINER IS WONDERFUL.............
I hope this year..he will do good
Since he got injured wayde has never been the same😢
Beast!
He is legand
that was amazing
You guys should post videos an hour later after that day event not years. Cant wait for doha
And we lost haroun😭😭 rip
Norman and him and Kerley bout to be legendary
Wayde was still gonna demolish both Kerley and Norman had he not have this injury
Steven Gardiner the 2019 World Champion, Michael Norman the up and coming prodigy, and Van Niekerk the world record holder. The 400 is gonna be must watch at the 2020 Olympics
JJQB 12 2021 olympics
COVIDs fucked everyone's dreams
Love his facial reaction when he finished at the end
Good running hero
This is when Kerley realized the full lap is too damn long! 😆
WAYDE🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
♥️ for Haroun
Matt boling and Michael Norman, the upcoming Americans talents who're gonna do something special this Summer.
Don't put your money on Boling just yet, he's good but he needs time to get faster. Besides, he would need sub 10 to make the 100m team.
He.got a 9.98 like a week ago

Anybody who can even think of sprinting a split 10.6 sec in the 400m race knows exactly how much of a body and mind it takes to be a champion. And the pains that go with it!
Dude he’s meant for this, I think he can come back.
He will return but he'll never be the same again.
You finished too fast Haroun 💔. Rip champ 💔💔.
If u had to convert 43sec to the 100m (43÷4) you will get 10.75😦😦he basically sprinted with that pace and it looks as if he was jogging... Incredible strength

That was 2 years ago.. Fred was the best at that time also he qualified so why should he not run
Wayde don’t even look tired
I believe Wayde is on something. This guy isn't even breathing hard after running that fast . That's very suspicious looking to me . Just saying . Congratulations to Wayde regardless .
@@ricwell209 that's what hard word and intense training makes you look like

@@CoolsMcghee i bet you dony train for track and feild
Maybe if you did you would understand
@@willykruze no matter how hard you train , if you are ALL NATURAL with no special enhancements you will still breathe hard running that fast. That is what the best cheaters do before they are caught ; retire early .
The 400m is a gruelling event they make it look easy
Super man
Look how tired everyone else is as compared to him, and yet he just ran the quickest
Everybody else in the ground dead and this guy barley Puts his hands on his knees for a moment then walks off like he is going to do it again after a 10 minute recovery LOL.
