  • On August 16th, 2021, Mr Muhyiddin Yassin announced his resignation as Malaysia’s 8th Prime Minister. The decision was made three weeks before Parliament is set to convene to determine his legitimacy to govern, amid a raging pandemic, economic downturn and mounting pressures from the opposition and the biggest bloc within the ruling coalition, UMNO. His decision to step down after just 17 months in office has allowed UMNO to reclaim the premiership 3 years after it lost the 2018 general election.
UMNO veteran, Mr Ismail Sabri Yacob has emerged as Malaysia’s 9th Prime Minister. He will be tasked to overcome the public health emergency as a result of the record breaking COVID-19 infections, heal the political divide and nurse the economy back to health.
But what are the circumstances which led to Mr Muhyiddin Yassin’s downfall? Will his resignation put an end to the political crisis in Malaysia?

What has been done for Malaysia besides power struggles and corruption? over all these years, even Agong and other sultans realised it, hence they collectively selected Anwar to be the PM to save the current poor economy (the major task is to stop corruption at all levels and abuse of authority etc) situation and in nation building especially in the bonding Malaysians into one united nation, proud to be Malaysian as brothers and sisters respecting each other regardless of the religion, race and culture and called ourselves as Malaysian. What should have been done previously was for example preamps especially those in flood-prone areas before the start of the monsoon season which will cause an increase in fish prices as they cannot go out to the sea and the flooding affecting vegetable farms hence causes the increases in the vegetable prices. The government should handout financial relief to these farmers and the fishing communities and at the same time improve their dwelling condition and try to improve on the drainage system of the nation, isn't it? Everything can be achieved if only everyone plays their part. Malaysia Boleh !!!! Anwar needs all the support as he alone will be a tough job only then will the Unity Government succeed. The lesser the "Muhyiddin" types of character the better for the Unity Government to carry out it task in Nation Building

We needs younger generation with talents, innovative, constructive ideas and solutions irrespective of races to manage and run the nation as a team not just by majority of the race with equality. Otherwise I am not optimistic to see lights at the end of tunnel in the near future. A man name Mahiadin kicked out from position as deputy prime minister years ago by UMNO and Najib. Then Mahiadin and Tun M worked with PH to take down the BN government. They won the election but he is not happy with Anwar to become next PM as he wanted the position so much. He then via sheraton move worked again with UMNO to take down PH and become pm. 18 months later he kicked again by the MP from UMNO, and he resigned as PM. Lastly, he supported Ismail which is also UMNO member that brought his down from his primier. So we can concluded that Mahiadin's stupidity led to his own downfall and brought up UMNO to the power again.
