Solo Takeover
Players will dive into Solos Takeover, replacing Duos at the beginning of the season. In Solos,
they can use Battle Sense to detect nearby enemies while tearing up the Outlands with
pre-kitted weapons and attachments. The fight continues with auto heal and new Second
Chance mechanics. It’s every Legend for themselves out there.
Broken Moon Shatters
A lunar nightmare becomes a reality as Olympus crashes into Cleo’s stasis node, reshaping the
battlefield with new POIs and a streamlined map, ripe for spreading havoc. Players will say

Honestly, don’t think this season is worth coming back to playing Apex for. Been watching you play solos was so boring. No action and everybody was just camping and hiding.
Personally I think the sense is a good thing for solos. If we didn't have that, the meta would just be to sit around and rat and jump on people.
So far, I love the implementation of Battle Sense mechanic for Solos. It mitigates the ratting (without having to pick a scan legend) without revealing enemy locations. I feel like the only folks who dislike the Battle Sense are people who were hoping to just rat their way to victory.
Really mixed feelings on spider-sense. I think it's probably a good thing in the long run. Solo modes tend to get flooded with cowardly camper types who just want to hide in a closet. I think they are trying to keep the pacing from dropping off a cliff. While I sort of hate the idea of enemies knowing you are there, I think it'll keep the mode from turning into a complete snore-fest.
Well back in season 2 solo was so fun
I feel like enemies who are damaged by the player, for 30 seconds they don't trigger the player nearby thing so they can still hide and not be chased while still avoiding health exploits.

for solos that indicator is definatly good, cuz alot of solo type players tend to play ratty. and new broken moon changes look rly nice
They really should just make Solos permanent. More players would come in just because of Solos

The skybox change makes the map feel much more alive just like what they did to stormpoint. Just hope they take these lessons for district in season 21 so it comes out as one of the best maps ever created on launch.

I appreciate the add for the player sense, I’m sure this will help players that are hard of hearing or deaf. I’m not deaf myself but I have a hard time with audio

Solo is lowkey great for people who wanna play alter because you know everybody is gonna want to try her out...everytime a new legend drops and when people pick the new legend in trios usually people quit
There is a indicator when you use her tactical which shows you if it will give you a "rope" portal. Right next to your reticle.
Do they double up the flesh heals with lifeline drone and octane passive, cheers bruz

The most consistent way to get rope was a perfect horizontal surface. If u have a hole on a horizontal surface from the bottom the rope will spawn
The map looks gorgeous
We actually do need high ground like we used to have in the old King's Canyon Map but they need to get rid of the ziplines to it since there are a lot of legends that can get high ground and we have air balloons. Ziplines make it easier for sweats to run you over. Like old Bonsai Plaza Ramp was amazing no zips on both sides and no box to climb.
Finally death cam is almost perfect
Can you get the regular 20 bomb badge in solos? If so imma have a 20 bomb on everyone cuz I rarely ever lose my 1s and ik how to pace well for 20s. If not the solos 20 bomb badge will be good enough but I got 19 this season because literally 6 of my kills got stolen I could've had 25 which would be my highest kills

i think replays here are possible because you insta die instead of getting knocked. With that said im curious if lifeline's self res perk even works
So in solo's does lifeline keep her ability to self revive? and i can't even imagine how hard a revenant is gonna be to kill when they just leap away and have a lifeline drone speed health regen lol
1.) The "Battle Sense" is nice specifically for solos to avoid camping. My niche is to avoid getting no audio landed on or ratted on from the back.
2.) The passive flesh heals are great- and I think are great for all modes! Its not like it makes syringes or medkits inferior because the ring still does exist (assuming being in the ring stops passive healing). I see this feature helping teams reset from third parties a lot easier!
3.) Alter is defo getting nerfed to the ground soon after launch.
4.) This map be looking real nice.

i just hope solo mode wont be crowded by people working together, last solos experience was friends going solo and getting put in the same server , so it wasnt even solo , it was 6 v1 all the tme xD

13:55 you can see where the portal exits ????. Theres a Red highlight indicator for the other side of the portal.
Yes alters can see eachothers portal exits, like how caustics and catalysts counter eachother.
Also I think the passive healing should be like 10 seconds instead of 6. Definitely easy to just start healing mid fight

No, but they give you special badges for solos itself
Am I crazy? Why when he gets a kill sometimes there is a box and sometimes the loot kinda just explodes out?

I feel as if her tac should only be for her to use. Like no teammates or enemies should be able to go through it. That's just me though

35:35 guessing that if a player dies with a respawn token, their loot goes on the ground instead of in a deathbox? 😺
There was another fight he had where they had no deathbox too. Both times they had nothing but ammo fall on the ground. So I'm thinking maybe it has more to do with what's in their inventory? Maybe if they don't have much loot it just falls on the ground, but if there's more stuff like batteries, grenades, etc., that'll cause a deathbox to spawn.

Make the portal go through a wall off the map and let a enemy chase Pathfinder through it , Pathfinder will grapple to safety

Idk why are people so mad about the player radar. It seems like a really good addition for solos especially with how bad the audio is.
Battle sense should only alert you to people camping and ratting. If you stay in the same general area for an extended period of time, you should be vulnerable to being battle sensed.

Healing in Solos might make it harder to get kills. The original Solos didn't have healing or six sense. I have a feeling solos is going to be flooded with Teaming now compared to old solos.

I think removing the healing from the game would break a fundamental aspect of the game play. I don't want a call of duty, game on autopilot style play. This game has many powerful and important mechanics and I don't think removing that would do well for the game
I think Battle sense will work for solo mode. Some gamers may complain about it BUT if there was no battle sense there would be continual complaining about ratting and Apex game audio from almost every apex gamer on the planet. I think we have ALL had enough of those two rants.
I don't know how I feel about battle sense. The footstep indicator is on Rhapsody but we don't have her in the main game and I'm really against the devs trying to stop camping 🏕️ because not every player is this pro sweat so with them breaking the game with Bloodhound, Seer, the ping beacons and sound it's awful. It's going to be 21 seasons of Apex and we still don't have Silencers and the only weapon that was really silent was the Bocek but it's not ground loot. If anything I would be for seeing footsteps like in Fortnite and a nerf to sound to stop/slow down 3rd partying. Also whoever is designing the buildings is fucking over Wattson Placement of good fences.
Automatic health regen will ruin the game it has its place in mixtape modes but not in BR
I wouldnt like removing health and having auto-gen health. At most, give a super slow amount of auto heal for if you're dead broke, but im talking like, slower than wattsons passive shield regen.
Spider sense is a necessary evil for how ratty solo battle royales can get

Remove enemy nearby. It's counter productive. Ratting is allowed in the game so there is nothing one can do about it. I enjoy solos, because it plays very good for high ping 200+ regions like Africa.

I would have preferred they didnt force the map smaller with the ring in the beginning. Keep it normal and just increase the players from 15 to 30. The spidey sense, as someone who plays casually because Im old and not that good at the game, not a fan. The lobbies will be full of sweats because Apex cant figure out how to place same skill players together, so in that the sense just makes it easier for the pro's to hunt down others that cant even make it past 1kd. = no fun. And no, Im not a rat, I would just like to heal in peace or if I saw a player is damn good, try to avoid them or just sneak up to someone thats looting etc

Should have made flesh healing faster for this mode instead of adding health regen, fast syringe and remove medkits.
Battle sense idm, it does not tell you where enemies are exactly, and without it would be a boring camp fest.
Respawn token should be given if you get a kill or "assist", not for free.
They are turned off in ring 5.
I don't like automatic health regen at all. It's fine in mixtape, but it should stay there.

Sense is removing your awareness skills and gives you that confidence since you will know for a fact if someone is around or pushing,yes bloodhound and seer scans and ults are still good to know exactly where they’re but why not just pick movement character now since you have sense.

Theres a reason why in BRs that have solos, everyone still solo queues in other modes instead. Its boring af, without battle sense it would be the best of 60 rats. You add cheesy abilities on top of that, it would be way more frustrating in this game.
@@chy.0190 other BRs are not as fast pace as apex with the movement plus the abilities/legends to find the rats if that’s your biggest concern.
I get it’s easier and more user friendly but not necessary.
I hope they take out battle sense as well as revive health if they decide to add it to the regular list of modes in the future. They should also make a respawn token earn able via a kill or something so the mode feels just like regular br still. I get why they’re adding such things to see how people engage with the mechanics in the mode but I think taking skill gap out of the game never has a good impression on the general player-base. Full kitted weapons also takes skill out of some weapons that require recoil control but I mean I get it, it’s only for six weeks, I get it. For now.
Lol just play a different mode if you want everything to be harder. Without battle sense it would be everyone ratting and jumping on others, thats not skill. Besides it doesnt even tell you where anyone is. Solos in every BR is a snore fest, theres a reason people in those games solo queue in duos trios quads etc despite there being a solo mode in them.
Weapon attachments change is good, theres way too much looting in Apex compared to other BRs I have played. Its not like most of the guns are purple anyways, its mostly white attachments. It was like that in straight shot and it makes the pace of the game so much better.
I agree with respawn token and health regen though. They should just make flesh healing abit faster instead.
