@@ComedyTVWeb I find that a heavier front wheel helps to keep the bike in motion, when the bike is too light with carbon frame and all that, it loses momentum quick and you need to pedal constantly, I like to just coast. I have one of those spengle tri spoke wheels on my bike which is pretty heavy
@@ComedyTVWeb It's cause the bicycle industry is about trends and selling, so they need to advertise stuff that will catch people's attention and interest. Like pros need very light weight and all cause for them every oz of weight counts to win a race and decrease the time trial times, and they would race naked if they could But for normal riding, weight isn't that important at all. I have tried both carbon and aluminum frames and component's like forks and handlebars, and I still prefer the good ol' chromoly steel for my frame and fork, and either aluminium or steel handlebars Most people that have a trispoke use it on the front wheel, and either have a disc wheels or normal spoked wheels on the back, cause it's better to have the heavier wheel on the front. I did just that with my bike and I don't think you're going to regret having a trispoke 👍
@@ComedyTVWeb Add to the fact that cycling is a sport and everything has to conform to UCI rules to sell bikes which then trickles to us non pro cyclists - Most of pro races have a very steep climb portion to which light frames help a lot to reduce energy consumption for the rider so they can pedal harder downhills. Racers don't coast very much you see, in which heavier frames/wheels have the edge.
I have a question what's the difference between a normal spoke wheel and the 3 sooke wheel with plastic? I'm getting a new bike and I'm gonna be using it on the road everyday so I need your help.
oh thank you man from all from our "village" ! now we know how to buy only a center of the wheel for $3.5 and outer part and we have a lots of plywood here! and we'll not buy all the wheel for $15 :-) bonus: on such plywood wheel that's easier to connect sprockets of different sizes or even use belts & pulleys! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness!! I don't know how it handles the wind, but still .. it's a very impressive end product..
too heavy to be affected by wind :p

It's a bit off center so not very smooth, also heavier than average so not ideal but very fun !
More weight and air resistance? I'll take two!

I very like the concept but i dont like to ride my bike with a wobbly wheel hehehe
Yeah good work in all really impressed even but it’s so much cheaper to just buy one off Amazon.
But how do you truing a 3 or 5 spokes wheel?
