I live overseas and we had to have our wedding certificate Apostilled. I was able to order it ( a new one then Apostilled)online and it was sent to me in Europe all within 2 weeks. I feel lucky. Mine was from Massachusetts. I feel you on the stress of paperwork though!

I live here and I definitely know how long and grueling the Visa process can be. Unfortunately, it doesn’t even end once you’ve actually moved, but it is so so so worth it.❤🥰

I don't envy having to do the medical process for the whole family! Doing it for just me was a nightmare enough. Of all the things I expected to go wrong moving out of the US, would have never in a million years guess- I had an atypical TB in my lungs. I might have never known if not for having to do the immigration exam, unless it started causing problems. It's not the contagious kind but when they first did the x-ray it wasn't clear if it was or not. Had to do sputum testing which took many weeks to culture, then more x-ray. Threw me for a loop for sure! It's a lot of pressure to get all that paperwork done exactly right, get it to the right place and doing that for multiple family members...it's an ordeal. Absolute best of luck!!!!!! So excited for you guys!

I wonder what their requirements are for a visa? I watch a CZcamsr who was there on a student visa to learn Spanish and then when she tried to extend it so she could stay there permanently, she had to jump through a million hoops, waited forever and paid a ton of money (that she barely had) only to have her visa denied in the end. She was completely crushed, I felt so badly for her. I really hope things go more smoothly for your family.

Try moving to Australia. The visa process here is a lengthy, frustrating and expensive.
