20 Tips To Become Sub-1 On Megaminx

Hey, this video illustrates some tips that you can use to become sub-1 on megaminx as fast as possible. Don't get discouraged because although sub-1 is tough, it is still possible. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments.
Tip 1 : Learn 2 look OLL
Tip 2 : Learn 2 look PLL
Tip 3 : Learn to do 2 star pieces at the same time
Tip 4 : You don’t always have to complete the star before you move on to F2L
Tip 5 : Try to do at least 4 star pieces on average
Tip 6 : Memorize the F2L color pattern
Tip 7 : Remember where most of the F2L corners and edges are while you solve a pair
Tip 8 : If you have a solved corner or edge remember where it is
Tip 9 : Solve pairs in the back
Tip 10 : Once you are doing your last pair of F2L, look for your 2 next edge pieces going into S2L
Tip 11 : S2L has less sides you can work with, so look ahead will be much easier so therefore spam TPS
Tip 12 : In certain cases, solve the S2L slot before inserting the edge
Tip 13 : Try to sometimes solve both star pieces during S2L
Tip 14 : In the last 2 sides, don’t restrict yourself by starting with the same color every time, try to solve the first one you see
Tip 15 : Do sledges to avoid this EO case
Tip 16 : Look for an edge piece while you are busy solving the OLL case so that you can quickly align it and see where to go from there
Tip 17 : Do a ton of Slow solves
Tip 18 : Do your scrambles fully
Tip 19 : Use Cstimer for subsets to practice
Tip 20 : PRACTICE

I got a question: do you need to be color neutral on megaminx??

No, its hard to be full color neutral and I don't think anybody does this but some might be a bit neutral for S2L. It is better to have a fixed order so you know what pieces to look for next
