I don’t get your point about giving away tickets for free. No place is going to give away tickets for free at the beginning - tickets are already on sale for 2020-21 panto. So people are always going to have “bought” tickets before they decide to give any tickets away for free etc. So to lower your review score because of that seems almost churlish in my opinion.
Prices for panto - it’s great that you push for accessible prices, but Sunderland is a different provider, different area and if the prices do get too steep then people would just stop attending in Newcastle.

I’m lost sorry - I’m not disputing they give away tickets for free - but your point was they give tickets away for free after the public had bought them. So for that you couldn’t give it a 5* pants. But as tickets are on sale for next years pants that’s always going to happen.
It’s like going in a supermarket and at the end of the day them giving food away for free but then marking them down as a supermarket because people had bought the same food earlier in the day at full price.
Am I totally not getting your point and you mean something else entirely?
