@@armyboy1207 He was defenetly making positive videos before that though. PQ has always been pretty balanced in that regard I'd say.

I love secondary bbs, but most of the time you get out spotted and focused. However you are 100% accurate with the satisfaction and enjoyment you get when you do get a close quarter brawling match.
You want to know the sad part about it all for me? When you have a team or a div that works together it almost always works in randoms. Some of the best games I've ever had were in my Massachusetts when I moved up and had several of my teammates come with me. It's just too bad that more players won't do that. Makes me think it's not the meta that wrong it's the players.
I really like the feeling once all your utility (aka damage con, heal, speed boost, hydro ...) goes inactive BUT you reach a safe position and just have time to wait and breath in again.
I completely missed the swap to Ohio and was like, those are the world's luckiest few salvos ever shot by a Schlieffen when you hit those consecutive citadels.
3:30 - 2 quad launchers.. mino torps? later the single launched torps from daring, but that still leaves the halland torps right?
Honestly for the Ohio I feel taking the American gun accuracy mod is so much better that full sending secondaries. I say this as a big fan of secondary builds.
This is assuming you can aim well at long range. For somebody like me that has storm trooper aim at anything over 15 klicks it's pretty pointless.

It's always funny to see those greedy single launch torps from British ships. Gives me a good laugh every time.
You've complained about the direction of play and people staying back. One thing to remember is a battleship is to ocean warfare what a self propelled Howitzer is to ground warfare. The Howitzer while a track heavy ammo vehicle is not meant to be utilized like a tank. The Howitzer is utilized as behind the line support. While a tank is a push with the ground troops vehicle.
Brawling ships are just not in the meta and are not conducive toward random team mates. You have to play very carefully. It requires a lot of patience on knowing when to strike the enemy. I find that most games EVERYONE is so passive and cares about living more than winning the game despite there being no in game economic benefit to surviving a match
Schlieffen secondaries can have 32mm pen with ifhe, do not just show your head to a Schlieffen you will get melt super fast, try to run away with a fake broadside and you won't get citadel and also dodge most of the secondaries.
Whenever there is a kill, there are fireworks coming up. Is that a mod in World of warship ?
A big question to ask - going full secondary build nerfs your dispersion a bit. But how much is it in reality? If you take accuracy on Ohio instead of secondary range, what % of shells you won´t land in the latter case? And how much potential dmg you inflict? Because secondary range is great for "accuracy buildup" so when you reach those 9-10km distance, they are already pretty accurate.

I think he means the secondary reload buff in slot 6. Ohio cannot equip the slot 3 dispersion mod like other nations BBs. In any case, slot 6 gives 11% dispersion buff, which is huge.
@@Virgilfinnatell Yeah, sounds like it. But what is the practical effect of it?
for example GK dispersion is like 286m. Having accuracy buff 7% in 3rd slot moves you to 265m, which is still very much shiet; those +20% range actually mean something and dispersion module feels like waste of time - it still depends mostly on rng and sigma to what you hit.
OHIO +11% accuracy feels better, especially that you have no better option there (range is great and spotter plane for CV sniping is enough to cover basically whole map).
But I would really be interested in how much it actually will matter. Like stand yourself in correct angle and start shooting BBs in training room without moving. How many salvoes will it take you to kill 10 BBs in range from 8 to 15 km? Done twice, first with accuracy module and perk and second without it, but with secondaries to larger distance.

@@siriusczech basically, when the upgrade says it reduces dispersion, it means it reduces the radius of the dispersion ellipse. But dispersion is a 2D ellipse. Take for example, a circle with a radius of 250m. Using the area of a circle formula, the total area is around 196000m2. Using the -7% upgrade reduces the radius of the circle to 232.5, which gives a new area of around 170000m2. That is a decrease of 26000m2, or around 13% off the previous area, nearly double the -7% given.
When should you push? When you have the advantage. When you have to be aggressive in order to win
One thing that puzzled me about that first game is why you continued to fire AP at a bow in Yamato. You repeatedly got all but zero damage. Surely you could've used HE and, if AP was your concern for the Mino and the DDs, wouldn't the improved ammo switch have been good enough? Certainly so after the Mino was killed?

So all in all, when it comes to aggressive playstyle and brawling. Wich is the best, the Schlieffen or the Ohio? Seems like the Ohio is more accurate and more tanky, where as the Schlieffen has slightly better Secondaries?

Bro the dispersion of that thing sucks, I consistently perform better on my massa in terms of damage and landing shot even though US shells are known for their lackluster velocity
Personally, I think secondary builds are terrible. On normal games, even in the Schlieffen, the damage that came from secondaries, including fires, should make up around 50% of the total damage max, way less in the GK, and much less in Ohio. Napoli is speshul. Considering the Kremlin, which is the main gun variant of close-range battleships, you can usually survive longer, thus doing more damage against cruisers, and far outgunning any other battleship except Schlieffen. You will also find map control easier to maintain, because that's what wins the game, not a singular push.
Many times, with the exception of ranked, you would find yourself quite successful in a brawling battleship, 150k damage etc but so much of that damage is done in an obsolete place of little contention, that's the only reason that you live pushing in. Otherwise, it is too little too late. You would also find yourself balls deep into the enemy team while your entire team is still sitting behind that rock waifu. So much for map control I guess.

I don't take secondaries for damage. I take secondaries for breathing space and to relax situational awareness a notch or 2. Otherwise, I play something else.
