@@giovannideiana207 you don't understand what "underrated" means. It means he's an excellent drummer who isnt recognized for it as much as he deserves to be.
Glenn Tipton fighting Parkinson's disease and struggling with his guitar is a thousand times better than thousands of guitarists. An example of honor and courage. And Rob Halford fighting against the inevitable decay of the voice, and still tearing the dome of the sky, is heavier than a hail of anvils and axes.
Almost 70 (at time during shot) Glenn suffering parkinson still did better job than most bedroom guitarist who study DAW edit way longer than actual playing
I think your ears need to be checked, as much as I love him, he didn't hit the majority of the high notes and this is understandable due to his age, but ffs be more objective.
I was just thinking of the irony in that statement. Apparently some Judas Priest fans got mad when someone called Judas Priest a "death metal" band on an episode of "The Simpsons". In the opening credits of the next episode, it showed Bart Simpson writing "Judas Priest is not death metal" on the school blackboard.
It blows my mind that Kerry king, who was highly influenced by Glenn Tipton as a kid, is retired already and Glenn is still on stage to this day, absolutely killing it! Respect to this man 🫡 criminally underrated guitarist.
As far as I know KK was not too much into the retirement of Slayer. Imho they just could have stopped making records but on the other side I would have loved to see Gary Holt contribute to the writing.
Glenn has retired from touring- he’s too “sick” now. I saw them 11/22 Still fucking amazing with Ritchie and I don’t know who the other guy was, nevertheless AMAZING 🤘🏻🙌🏻🤘🏻🙌🏻🤘🏻
You guys realize that even today in 2024 this song is still so hard in every aspect that it is still hard to find any YOUNG vocals, drummers and guitarrists that can keep up with it. And these gentlemen are putting it up on their 60s (in 2015)! Huge respect to them!
I’ll never forget how Rob Halford was screaming his lungs out in Moscow 2005 reunion tour. He gave it all. “Touch of evil” was insane! He was obviously having voice issues but nailed it by deduction and passion!
The perfect song to end on, many a lesser band would just not have tried to play it, the whole band pulls it off, but Rob gives it literally all he's got left with admirable results.
@@Dergicetea His Aorta ruptured while playing this song live back in September. Actually just a few days after I saw them. He was about an inch from death but thankfully he recovered. They are back on tour now and he’s doing great thank God.

He's 70. 70! And still hitting those notes. What a absolute madlad.
He was 63 here, he actually hits them better at 70. Hes worked on his voice a lot the last few years

Probably last song for the night because he needs to heal after this one

rob vocal range is so impressive, that low growls at the end is insane after the really high chorus

Rob turned into a death metal singer!!!
Surprisingly, Rob did three aaahs, like Chuck did in the death cover, instead of just one Aaaah like in the studio version. So you may not be wrong.
That growl was awesome!!!
I'm just gonna comment the same thing. 😂🤟
