But a minor correction: Ip nhrp shortcut is not needed on hub, it has no effect on when configured, basically this command tells the router to install specific route(NHRP learned route) in FIB based on NHRP reply received from HUB, since spokes are the ones who need to install short cut not hub so command is has no effect on hub and thus not needed .
