A weekend on the east coast of Mauritius - AMAZING!

- Here is a quick video of what a weekend on the east coast of Mauritius looks like!
We called our friends up on a random week night, picked them up at 10pm and drove all the way to Poste Lafayette (east of Mauritius) from Tamarin to spend the weekend there with them!
This video is quite different from what I usually film, it's a little more personal but I thought it might be nice to give you a glimpse into our life.
We started our weekend with an amazing snorkelling session in Poste Lafayette's lagoon. The East Coast's windy waters are a great place to snorkel if you're not afraid of being a little cold! The rest of our afternoon was spent cooking together, playing cards, drinking tea and catching up. The next morning, we kick started our day with what we'd like to call a "workout", had breakfast, and headed off to Trou Diable; a labyrinth of semi fresh bassins on the East Coast of Mauritius. We then made the most of the day light we had left by going kayaking and hanging out in the sea all together before driving all the way back to Tamarin.
We really spent an amazing weekend away with our friends and I hope you enjoyed this quick little video of us having fun together.

The 2nd clear basin is called Bassin Lave. Hope it was clean as people go there to have picnics but dump their rubbish in and around it.
Wow it’s honestly amazing how clear it is! There is rubbish it’s always sad to see. If only everyone could just take their own trash home haha.
