The Vaishnav danush belongs to Sri Maha Vishnu. Vidhura got this powerful weapon from Sri Maha Vishnu. When Vidhura use this weapon no great warriors stand before him. So Sri Krishna Cleverly manipulated Vidhura not to accompany in Kaurava side during Kurushetra battle.. The Story starts When Sri Krishna visits Hastinapura royal court for peace treaty. Lord Krishna knows very Duryodhana and his brothers will not accept peace treaty with Pandavas. So, he cleverly manipulates Duryodhana to speak ill about Vidhura Mother as Mistress of His Grand father. This Makes Vidhura frustrated. The Vaishnav danush belongs to Sri Maha Vishnu. Vidhura got this powerful weapon from Sri Maha Vishnu. When Vidhura use this weapon no great warriors stand before him. So Sri Krishna Cleverly manipulated Vidhura not to accompany in Kaurava side during Kurushetra battle.. The Story starts When Sri Krishna visits Hastinapura royal court for peace treaty. Lord Krishna knows very Duryodhana and his brothers will not accept peace treaty with Pandavas. So, he cleverly manipulates Duryodhana to speak ill about Vidhura Mother as Mistress of His Grand father. This Makes Vidhura frustrated. But he can't do any actions against Duryodhana due to dharma he followed for years. So he announced He will not help Duryodhana and his brothers in war. And Breaks the Vaishnav Dhanush, because it will not use For war in favour of wrong side.
This incident leads one of the great success of Good over evil.
I accept vidhura as genius person. But I don't think vidhura has vaishnav dhanush. Because lord krishna has vaishnav dhanush all time when lord left his body he gives it lord Varuna !!!

I wish he had never given his kabaj and kundul... Karna was far greater than Arjuna.. Not only archery he was the greatest but also He was danvira Karna...
