UN Interagency Innovation Bootcamp | May 2019

Co-organized by the UN Innovation Network and the WFP Innovation Accelerator, this first interagency innovation bootcamp was hosted at the WFP Innovation Accelerator in Munich, Germany from 29 April - 3 May 2019.
Teams from 11 UN sister agencies unravelled field-level challenges, ideated solutions and refined project plans. The programme introduced participants to cutting-edge innovation techniques, such as human-centred design and learn start-up methodologies, combined with the deep-field knowledge and operational excellence.
The intense, week-long Bootcamp included a Pitch Night - an opportunity for teams to share their solutions with an audience of investors, industry leaders and government representatives with the abilities help them bring to scale.
The WFP Innovation Accelerator sources, supports and scales high-potential solutions to end hunger worldwide. We provide WFP staff, entrepreneurs, start-ups, companies and non-governmental organizations with access to funding, mentorship, hands-on support and WFP operations.
