This is so true. I'm Catholic and used to work for a Jewish company. The boss would have many different business persons come in each day. The first question they would always ask me is "are you Jewish?". They wanted to know could they trust me! Was I in the circle? Even the boss didn't trust me. It took him 2 years before he would leave his office unlocked when he left the building. I worked there for nearly 6 years and they were so upset when I left. They even tried to recruit me again many months after I'd left. Trust is everything to Jewish people.

With inflation currently at about 10%, my primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $240k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I'm all in on the long term game, but with my savings are lying waste to inflation and my portfolio losing gains everyday, I need a remedy asap.

I agree, the no.1 factor in good business is trust, that's why most businesses fail is because sometimes there are people who breaks that trust and it greatly affects the business ecosystem.
I feel sad that even though I am investing, I don't have the brain power to dig through how each company is doing, is this a good time to buy stocks or not. my reserve of $450k is still laying waste to inflation and I don't know what to do at this point.. I need solid data on market trajectory..
I'll suggest you find a mentor or someone with experience guide you especially in this recession. especially for your 401K, IRA and portfolio diversification.
I agree, I thought I was doing alright profit wise, until I needed assistance with diversification, I reached out to a financial advisor and in less than a year I was just $51,000 shy away from $850k which is like 7x more than I make on my own..

The adviser I'm in touch with is "Susan Bauer Normansell", she works with Merrill, Pierce, Smith incorporated and interviewed on CNBC Television. You can use something else. for me her strategy works hence my result. she provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on.

In many people's paradigms of the world, there is a concept of "misery loves company." In Judaism we have such people too. Unfortunately it's easy to project our misery onto others, and blame them for our faults. And within a community there are circular communities. You just have to find the right crowd for yourself within your chosen community: people who are positive, intent on getting ahead and moral. I believe all religions have many such communities.

Base your business on performance and award contracts on merit. Put in place an intricate and exhaustive vendor and associate scrutiny mechanism. Put in brutal quality and performance clauses on not only your vendors and associates but also on yourself.
Do what I do, I don't do business, I live my business.
And Google my friend is not the right place for gauge someone's merit, skillset and performance capabilities, you need to get to the pit and get your hands dirty.

The common problem is that people are very smart and talented, but choosing to work in factories and competing with each other based on hourly wage.

I agree with the concept at community level, however I believe when business becomes broader encompassing more communities and customers eg, national or international, diversity of thought and background (culture, community, etc) becomes more important to be able to best understand customers and fellow workers, as well as encourage additional ideas.

I lived in a Jewish quarter, in Montreal, QC. Canada. I saw how things are working among Jewish population. Exactly as you explained.

Unfortunately for me, as I am from Russian community, things are exactly opposite. Most Russian hate each other, envy each other, and will never help anyone.
I wish I could change this behavior of those people, but I came to conclusion that I would better find do business with someone else.

Back in the day I worked at a Jewish Community Center and even though I was just a nobody there I became acquainted with a lot of the members, heck I was even invited to a few Shabbat dinners. There's nothing I could say bad about them, matter of fact my dentist, PCP, financial advisor (official and unofficial) are all connections I made at the Jewish Community Center. And yes they do give back INSANE amounts to fund the center.
