    This is the treadmill workout I have been looking for....cardio without running. I broke 2 bones in my leg last year and it still hurts to run. The only constructive thing I can offer is to have a sound notification between work & recovery intervals because I'd miss the starts when I was looking straight ahead. Thank you very much!!

      I won't give a recommended steps as that's not how I train. Typically 20-30 minutes of cardio with minimal/no break is my typical workout. Results come quickly. Your diet will greatly effect how fast exercise will deliver results. The goal is to minimize caloric intake(watching what you eat), And maximize caloric outtake (your exercise intensity and duration).
