Fun fact about the 4:40 combo: Mega Man can't do fair and uair in a full hop in this game like he could in Smash 4. He did an IDJ in order to make that happen.

@@magenta9105 Instant Double Jump. He buffered his double jump to happen as soon as possible after leaving the ground, which gave him enough height to do up air just before hitting the ground.

Reptile guy here, you don’t walk your snakes on the ground like a dog but you can let them roam under supervision or let them “walk” through your hands/fingies if they’re small enough

I used to really enjoy watching those videos but recently most of the stuff just looks either staged as hell or involves an opponent who misses 3 or more techs in a row in some boring footstool combo

I don't think those maroof megaman combos are against actual people. I just don't see the opponents pressing ANYTHING to get out. Still impressive as a training mode combo but would like to see how effective against someone trying to get out and fight back 🤷🏼♂️
Someone please tell me what the term "Tech" means and what context it would be used in? I don't know a lot of SSBU slang 'cuz I don't play/watch competitive modes in video games often. Also, thanks you Poppt1 and StylesX2 for showing us cool new combos.
"Tech" in the context most used in this video is when you press shield right when hitting the ground or a wall so your character does not bounce off the wall or lie on the ground. Especially on the ground is important in these combos, because you cannot be jablocked if your character isn't lying down
A tech can happen when you bounce off the floor or wall of a stage after someone hits you. Normally when this happens, you just bounce off the floor or wall, but if you “tech” the bounce, which you do by hitting the trigger buttons at a certain time while hitting the floor/wall, you will not bounce, but instead either stay in place if you tech the wall, or jump up if you tech the floor. Teching the floor gives you more invincibility and helps escape combos, while wall teching helps you to not bounce off the stage far into the blastzone and instead stay close to the stage. Sorry if this was long, but if you want a more in-depth look, there are some smash terminology videos that you can watch. Hope this helps!
