The Mercedes e300 OM606 car is a refined, beautiful to drive quiet diesel car..if I was doing a conversion I'd want to keep those characteristics in the next vehicle, not add huge turbos, and noisy exhaust system, or extra power, it's already a powerful engine.

Hi Luke. I’m a big fan of DPUK. I have been an MB technician for about 20+ yrs in Canada. Temporarily living in India. I love MB diesels especially the mechanical ones. I’m wondering if it’s possible to put in an OM 605 turbo with a 6speed manual trans in a T1 van. Looking for 200-250 Bhp. Planning a mild camper build. T1’s are freely available in India. Planning to take back to Canada. Have you tried such a project before and is it feasible. If so I’d like a mild set up turbo with I/C for everyday use and also not adversely affecting fuel economy and drivability. No ECU only mechanical 😂. Thank you in advance.

I grew up on a small farm in the uk in the 70's and we had a couple of old tractors that never had batteries or electrics. They would always be parked up on a hill, and no stalling allowed😂

hello. I have an om605 in a w202 and I want to increase the horsepower to the maximum of the diesel pump, I'm not sure how many mm it is. but I think it's a 6. Please tell me which turbo to put in to have the minimum consumption stock style 7/7.5 and when I step on it to deliver maximum power with the stock pump. I read on the internet that it reaches 250hp. please give me some recommendation.

Unfortunately, the Federal Exhaust Gas Fun Ban Ordinance (BABVVO) and Transport Tourism Emission Restriction Federal Ordinance (TEBBVO) will soon ban driving combustion engines in public outside of proven commuter trips and transport trips, because then exhaust gas fun WILL be a traffic offense!!!!!! Furthermore, a vehicle tax of 30,000 euros for exhaust gas-emitting combustion engines was threatened!!!!
Nice, BUT if a heavy rain would come in time of that run, none of you will come back home with own car. A snorkle is definitely NOT an expensive part, also at least ONE of two suv's should have winch installed.
If you are going through water that is so deep you need a snorkel then a snorkel will be the least of your worries

In England you’re only five minutes from help no matter how remote you are. If it was a serious adventure he wouldn’t have left the shop with street tires on the Series.
A SUV is for driving the kids to school. A 4WD is for off roading.
My drive is worse than that, and reducing tyre pressure works, fit a snorkel, winch and roll hoop for man size 4x4ing
