VERY GOOD INFORMATION IF YOU READ THE REPLYES. ANYTHING that is on the 5 volt reference (5 volt Power) line that goes to the PCM, Can short to the 5 volt reference (Power) to ground, & if the PCM is Not getting the 5 volt reference(power) then the security will Not get the message it is ok to start the car & the green key will be flashing, & NO START, & NO COMMUNATIONS WITH PCM.
I had this same issue on a 2004 Odyssey. I found that the fuel pump had lost its ground. The broke wire was below the floorboard and above the fuel tank. I opted to bypass the broken ground wire and substitute another. Made the repair and van started.
my 2005 just stopped working after i installed a relay i the cigarette port, don't hear the fuel pump priming not but sure if i ever did? wondering if i fried a wire to fuel pump now!?>
Relay in cigarette port ?? Confused. The main relay under the dash is known to fail in this vehicles - it’s under the dash. I would start checking fuses. If you’re handy with a volt/ohm meter check for power and ground at the fuel pump connector. This entails removing the center seats and pulling back the carpet. I’d advise locating a shop manual if you intend to keep the car. It’s a world of help
A weak Key Fob battery can cause a Honda to not start.. Weak Fob will immobilizer want connect ..example of an actual immobilizer issue, it is seen in this video. Notice how the immobilizer light flashes through the start attempt. In this video looks like he unplugged the Fuel shut off valve..
Step 1: Perform full system scan. This revealed that there was "No communication" Step 2: Pick a direction. I chose to scope CAN lines, which looked good. Then I chose to check the 5v ref circuit to see if I had reference voltage which I did not. Step 3: Why don't we have 5v ref? You can check all PCM powers and Grounds, or you can OHM the 5v Ref circuit and check resistance between it and ground (Key off) *your ohm meter is the battery It should be open or very close to infinite OHMs. In my case it had continuity to ground. Continue to look at the OHM meter and monitor it while doing step 4... Step 4: Look at a wiring diagram and remove anything that is connected to the 5v ref circuit one by one. It could also be the PCM shorted internally, wiring issue, or a connector issue. Once you no longer have continuity to ground, check for voltage again... fix whatever was pulling it down.
It’s a security light indicator. However, in this case the vehicle didn’t have a security problem. The engine computer wasn’t able to wake up due to the internal power supply being shorted by the oil pressure sensor which kept the module from doing its job.

Bull. Key must it been program disconecting the V tech got nothing to do with tbe securitysystem 🤣. I'm pretty sure you had 2 keys show the video with the one key not working and then came back on and crank it with the good key.. 🤣😉😉 go fool some one else.
The solenoid has nothing to do with programming. What is happening is that every module needs power and ground. The power and ground will then be used and stepped down to a 5v circuit that the engine computer uses as it’s internal power supply. The vtec has an oil pressure sensor that uses the 5v ref circuit, and the sensor was shorting that 5v ref circuit to ground which was killing the PCMs internal power supply. The security light being on in this case had nothing to do with needing keys programmed. It had everything to do with the IPC not getting confirmation from the PCM that the correct key was in the vehicle due to the PCM not communicating and the reason it wasn’t communicating Is due to PCMs internal power supply being pulled down to ground through the vtec

I tryed just pulling wires apart and then tried the key and then tried to start it works.
Since when did unplugging a wire fix something. how it plugged in. 🤔🤔🤔

I heard that if the green key light stays flashing, the card doesn’t recognize the key. Maybe that’s what’s going on with this
