They should put her and the babies in a separate enclosure for a little while. I'm sure its hard to rest eat or sleep when theres so much activity around her and all the curious chimps trying to get a peak at the twins , others trying to grab them. Poor mamma. She needs somewhere ahe can rest and not have to worry about all these things.
Is people taking pictures. Babies trying to sleep. Zoos are cruel but mother and babies away from public for a while

It’s so hard to remember them being this little and big brother wouldn’t leave them alone.
Silence should be a norm in the zoo, like libraries, all those hysterical cries are a disrespect to animals who try to have a life behind the windows.
I agree , I had to turn the volume down. Who wants to listen to kids screaming and when these kids leave, there will be more screaming kids right behind to take over. The chimps have to hear it all day. Imagine setting in your livingroom with a steady trail of screaming brats and their idiot parents parading and gawking at you through your window from sun up to sun down
Seems proud mama is showing off her new babies, so sweet, they will surely be special to all.
All that kid screaming gets on my nerves! It is noise pollution to the animals.
If you mute it it’s so much better. It looks like they are all in this lil room. I don’t know anything about this place but maybe someone that knows it better can tell me this. She must be a trusting mom letting the others be so close like that.

Here we clearly see the new stars (besides Shabani) of the Nagoya Zoo. The cute twins are the absolute center of all. They fascinate not only us spectators but also the chimpanzee family, above all their big brother Riki, as well as the big and the small zoo visitors. Very nice Sunday video.

Some how I missed this video, glad I finally got to see it. She’s such a good Mama. I really liked how she brought the twins to the window for everyone to see. You got some very nice shots of the twins expressions. What is the name of the chimp with hand missing and how did that happen?

@Jackie, bellos?? Son espantosos animales salvajes que te arrancan la cara si te acercas a ellos. Además los varones adultos pueden ser caníbales que matan a sus propios bebés y se los comen aparte de que también se comen su propia mierda 😜😝😝
I find this video disturbing because the space (cage) is much too cramped and the mother with her twins has little to no space to relax and cradle her babies in peace. There are far too many screaming, yelling people outside the enclosure. It is altogether an unacceptable arrangement. I question if she got rnough to eat because she was surrounded by other chimps who were eating but she wasn't receiving any food. There is something very wrong with this facility.
I was thinking the same thing Clamma Dale too much noise being that there are small children and they are so loud
She is very use to people and chimps are group oriented my chimps are far more upset if they're ever left alone than with the group. The only problem can sometimes be older siblings will try and snatch and even kill new additions they also will eat them if they get a chance. Generally the females are very protective you see how she pushes their hands away when they try and touch the small ones! Once these chimps hit three months the rest of the group will leave them alone and not try and snatch or kill. You can see the adult female isn't bothered by the people at all.
@@migueldelgado273 Uhhh, there's not a single recorded instance of a maternal siblings commiting infanticide, and there's been copius studies into the matter. Infanticide is far more rare than some seem to think it is. When it is done, it has been shown to be during times of a communties social instability when male leadership is in question, and is entirely based on sexual-selectivity commited adult males vying for reproductive oppertunity. Partial canniblalism is an even rarer occurence and seen as by-product of protein acqusition.
In fact, older siblings of both genders are remarkable in the animal kingdom for taking on parental duties, assisting their mothers and, in cases of maternal illness, death, and even rejection, siblings fully adopt.
C.M. H. Better read that kook Jane Goodall she saw several instances of it. Chimps are dangerous,sneaky and intelligent along with the strength of four men. I never trust mine for a minute I carry a pistol,and a taser at all times when inside the enclosure. They're very interested in my pistol if they could get it I am sure they would shoot me dead!!
C.M. H. I have four three females and a male all females are due in July and August. What do,you think that's strange do how many chimps live in the US as pets? Plenty more here in Mexico and central America.
I really hope that the chimps don't hear any of that gawd awful noise.
