That’s right. Thank you.
The nanny storyline in Coronation Street was a total waste.
What happened in it exactly?
@Redchannelconditions The nanny, Carmel, tries to seduce Martin but he rejects her. Then she made up that she is pregnant with his child. Gail, at one stage later on, thought she pushed her down the stairs by accident but in reality, it seems Carmel deliberately tripped herself and although she wasn't pregnant, Carmel wanted Gail to be prosecuted. Eventually, her grandfather from Ireland confessed to the Platts about his granddaughter's weird behaviour and makes sure she will never return to Weatherfield.
Sadly, the Platts' marriage wasn't going to last when Martin did have an affair with a nurse a year later. Gail got rid of him for good and by 2001, she was about to place her trust to a man named Richard Hillman.
@@jamesmitchell8922 ah ok. Thank you for clearing that up.
