  • Hi everyone! Remember you still have some days to apply to study in Oxbridge 2021/22. Some application deadlines (specially those that include funding) take place in December! Reach out to your supervisor, which usually is a mandatory requirement for applying to your dream uni.
PS: so many more other degrees applications will remain open until May or June!!!!
PS2: if you want to know how to find a supervisor please check out this video: • Become an intern at Ca...

Hi, thank you this video was very helpful, could you maybe elaborate on some details of what kind of project proposal we should say in the email? Presumably we don't want the email to be super long, so could you give an example of a project proposal you would include in the email?

    Dear Marianaql,
I am here to say thank you for this video. I followed the steps recommended here and I was able to get response from nearly all the lecturers I sent it to.
For those who didn't respond immediately, I gave them a couple of weeks interval then sent a reminder mail and they responded.
Once again I am grateful for this insightful video.
Kindly wish me well as I continue with my application processes.
    Thank you.

Hi, how long should we take to send a follow-up email to the professor for supervision? And can we send mail during weekends too?

Hi Mariana, thanks for this useful video. Is there any difference when contacting a supervisor who offers a PhD project with pre-defined aims? Do I still need to design the study on my own for this kind of project? Thanks :)

My project had pre-defined aims, and I worked with my potential supervisor to find the best path for my PhD and I wrote about it when I applied (I.e PhD proposal).

Hi Mariana, this is for PhD candidates right? you don't need to find a supervisor if you're applying for a master's degree, right?
