    Hi TorqueMasters.
I ALWAYS fill the oil filter before install. This helps oil reach top of the engine very quickly.
    Great job and explanation, dude!!!.

Thank you. Basically it is not really a necessary operation, if it were it would be emphasized in the use and maintenance book. However it does not hurt so if one wants to is free to do as he believes :)

on those K&N oil filters do not use the bolt on the end to tighten it as it will damage the filter, its only used to take off the oil filter. Checking the tightness with a torque wrench probably wont damage it

When use a torque wrench, twist up the screw until You hear the first click; then You'll have the proper torque. You don't have to keep on twisting it, making several clicks; You can get over tighten the screw and damage the wrench. One click is more than enough.

it is better that you use the type of oil indicated in the vehicle use and maintenance book. You can also go for the cheapest one you find, as long as it is compatible with what is written there :)

@@torquemasters97 if you remove the filling cap before unswitching the drain screw the oil flows better
