For the 10th video of our Lockdown Content campaign, we gave our song 'Death' the acoustic treatment, once again featuring our session bass player Nicolas Winter (and Anna took the opportunity to incorporate the Hammond organ at her studio). Cellar Darling lockdown content series (2 of 3) I said a while back in the first Cellar Darling request I made that Anna Murphy plays everything, and here you get to see it. Everyone is independently recording their own individual part (including a session bass player who is not a full member). Simple enough, except for Anna who plays and records her own vocal, hurdy-gurdy, organ and flute tracks, and I believe mixed the entire thing together herself as well. The song is originally from their second album, 2019’s “The Spell.”
