Tishana in Games 2 and 3 vs Murktide can be great for the EE they always bring in.

I agree. But that is almost the only situation where Tidebinder is good unless we can disrupt a fetch

    My board strat vs Yawg
    - Out: Dockhands and Tricksters
    - Cursed Totems, Dismember, Spreading Seas
Trickster really only has value post board to keep an undying creature from coming back because they can combo at instant speed on either turn. I Leave Svyelun I for the ward, and have found Subtlety to be underwhelming at best.

So im running a similar deck as well, and im new to modern. Aside from learning the diff. Decks. I noticed. Im having big trouble with handling decks like hammer time, and ones like it that run shadowspear, reprieve just tons of control, and removal. Im kind of at a loss with them....its like i literally have to have a nuts hand to even get close vs'ing them with my merfolk deck.

I agree. You wanna be able to tide Shaper their urzas saga and I Think deeproot pilgrimmage could be good.
But try and Read Merfolk Joe’s primer. There is a section for hammertime

I am running the the list that won the 10k in Cincinnati.
However I believe the reason might be having 3 deeproot and 2 spreading seas that can’t be cast of cavern.
It might be right to have all 4 caverns tho
