@@jefferytay3225 sadly, I feel that this is the likely situation. This team have had so many false dawns the past ten years, I've got fed up of it. I'm not negating the performance, because it was excellent compared to the other matches, that's for sure. The worry is that too many (including the media, who love a drama, of course) will overdo it afterwards. Unless they build on this game, they're still going nowhere. The fact that there's still talk that Ronaldo and Maguire will stay is going to cause more headaches.
New signings are still required in the next week or so. We've beaten Liverpool and City in seasons prior to this one, and still failed to capitalise on these wins. No good beating the top sides if you're going to draw or lose the next few against weaker opposition....

Each and every player knew exactly what they need to do, the transition from defense to attack was smooth and well organized. Also patience, United waited for the right moment to make the move, this is clearly evident in the first goal when Malacia chose to go back to Martinez instead of chipping one in the box, who then opened up the space on the left flank which then led to a brilliant one-two and a composed finished from Sancho. They didn't rush, waited for the right opportunity and hit Liverpool.

Liverpool will wake up eventually but not till Thiago comes back from injury or Liverpool buy a proper midfielder, the midfield is a hospital ward, klopp should never be relying on an over the hill player like Milner in the midfield maybe he's waiting to buy a player before window closes and buying time for the owners, Milner was left for toast on the first goal.
