As a german I know this Song from the Movie: "Das Boot". As a Child i thought it was strange to hear them sing it. But as a Grownup, i am very glad to see that old Enemys can be very close Friends who work together for the greater good.

When you drive into Tipperary town there's a sign saying "You've come a long way". I'm from Templemore in County Tipperary Ireland. Up Tipp💙💛 I like the Dday Darlings and 40s music. My grandfather used to love the song The White Cliffs of Dover. He was in the Homeguard in London during WW2 and worked on the Wellington bomber production line.
I'm 76, I know all those songs and love all the USO's all over the world that helped all that fought for freedom during WWII. Bless Them All.
