Welcome to the official Roll with Cole & Charisma CZcams channel! Since the start of our relationship we've gotten a lot of questions about our experiences as not only an interracial couple, but an interabled one as well. Agreed. I also think that some of these trolls call themselves Christians (but don't live accordingly). I'm thinking of the group of so-called "Christians" who are the most judgmental of others, especially women of other women. We have a lot of females here, right?
I believe a lot of this judgement is rooted in toxic masculinity, where these women have internalized this idea of what a wife and mother should look and act like...a very old-fashioned, conservative picture of a wife...more like a mother figure than a partner.
Sadly, these trolls are going to blame Charisma for nearly everything because they see Cole as the "perfect" Christian husband, and she the one responsible for keeping him happy and healthy. While they may see Charisma as a good Christian woman who is very loving and devoted to her husband, they'll still set these impossible-to-reach "perfect" standards for her to live up to. "Do this. Do that. Love and care for him like so." It's so unfair and misogynistic.
Charisma, if you see this: You are an AMAZING person, friend, wife, dog mom, and daughter. You are awesome and shouldn't change a thing about yourself. You could never please everyone anyway. Love ya both!

I think people fail to understand that Cole is a grown man. It's insulting to say that Charisma "makes" him do things - he has a voice and if he ultimately does something it's his choice, he made his own decision just like any other man. I'm confused why Charisma would even consider dating Cole. She will be taking care of him for the rest of her life. Charisma is a small woman and looks like she struggle to assist him most of the time. I understand how she fell for him because you can fall in love with a person's mind based off the conversation you have with them. I just can't understand how she let it go further than admitting him and being best friends. If they have a child she'll be caring for the baby and Cole... that's an insane amount of work

I can for sure. I’m a single mom with a 20 yrs old who is in a wheelchair and it’s not easy. It’s fun though to go onto or get into adventures and challenge yourself on things. We get a kick out of the things We thought We can do. It is hard and not that easy.

As a person with a disability I just want to state that call has as much if not more responsibility for his life and what he does in it as charisma has… He has a right to fully participate in life to whatever level he wants and charisma is right for supporting him in his endeavors… That’s what any wife would do for their husband…

Cole is not 12 years old, he can always say ‘no’ to anything! He should be more assertive in supporting his wife.
Cole is supportive!! 100% He is simply more advanced than many of us and doesn't just recognize that challenges aren't solved with anything but courage but understands and acts/reacts with Love & kindness and sometimes Those 2 things take more courage than all other things. I'm new to your channel, but already a huge fan, and admittedly, intrigued by your delightful personalities, fortitude and spirit. I saw the hiking video. Charisma seemed to be very confident and sure of what she was doing. That in itself, reassured me while watching that everything was okay and nobody was in danger of getting hurt. So, I am happy to know you will continue to fully live your lives and be happy. You both have encouraged me to be more positive and adventuresome in spite of my own disability living with MS. I was born with a cerebral palsy, so according to my doctors, I shouldn't have been able to walk or talk. But 32 years later, I have a masters degree I can walk fully unaided, I completed in my cross-country running and GCSE (exam level PE despite my teachers saying I would fail but I passed same with my degree despite people saying I would fail. At each stage of my life people predudted I would fail, because it was to hard to dangerous or I might get hurt. But i conquered it. I see you guys as a bacon of hope for someone like me. Their is no limitation or never any risk on anything you do. But what's the alternative living life sitting in a corner and letting the days pass us by. Or we can live life to the fullest and be the people God created us to be. The greatest disability you have in life is your mind not your physical limitations, you can choose to give up or get up. For me I have my life in its right perspective I am not going to accept the limitations society places on me because I am a person who is differently abled I am going to live my life without limits and to fulfill my dreams. I will adapt where I have to and always ensure that when I have to take a risk it's comes with my physically safety in mind. Happy Easter everyone God bless you. Have so fallen in love with you two, C&C. You are a perfect example of true love and devotion. Charisma, as a "Sister" don't forget that there are some people who will come at you unfairly because of your ethnicity. I feel badly that you are placed in a position where you must explain or justify your activity level. Just be who you both are and do what you decide to do for yourselves and ignore the negative criticism and shall I say it: envy. Live and Love well.
What Charisma is doing is showing Cole that he is capable of doing even more than he thinks. That she wont limit him based on his ability or what people belief the lack of. She believes in him and thats why he chose her as his wife. Please remember that she went to school for and has experience in this area. Let's applaud them for all their successes and encourage them to push as many boundaries as possible. It helps them to grow individually and together. Bravo to you both! Forget those comments! You guys are showing my family its possible to give our son with a TBI more to life. I never thought we could wheel him to a beach, go swimming or go on hikes as a family. He is not as advanced as Cole and is non mobile, non verbal but to know we can look into this for the future gives us more hope. So thank you!

I go through the same thing. People always ask my mom “did you really let her get tattoos” I’m literally 25 and can make my own decisions. Just because I’m disabled does not mean I can’t be spontaneous or have a mind of my own. I don’t understand why people don’t get that!

It bothers me so much when people think us disabled people can’t or shouldn’t do things because we are disabled, when in reality we ourselves weigh the risks more so than most able-bodied people. Just because we are disabled doesn’t mean we shouldn’t go on adventures or that we have to stay inside in a safe little bubble. What kind of life is that? It’s also horrible that people think Charisma controls Cole by “making” him do things. We have a mind of our own and we have things we want to try. That wheelchair is *meant* just for that purpose.....to give the disabled more freedom by being able to do something that maybe they couldn’t without it. People just really need to lay off Charisma.
I love your relationship! I absolutely love how much more independent Cole has become over the years, because of the risks that they’ve taken. I remember Cole saying in a previous video, that for so long he assumed that there were so many things that he wasn’t able to do before she came along. Lastly, Cole may be physically disabled, but he is fully capable of making his own decisions. Stop placing your limitations on him and your fears on her. That’s not fair to either of these fully capable adults. Thank you!

So many people assume that disabled adults are incapable of looking after ourselves and treat us like kids. Assuming that Charisma is making Cole do this stuff is treating Cole like he's a child and incapable of saying no.
Y'all are such great people. Cole is not forced to do things he doesn't want to. He can say no. Let's face it, sometimes we wives have to encourage our guys to do what they want. Have you seen in his eyes how excited he is when he succeeds?
I feel like Charisma gets a lot of heat for no reason. She does SO MUCH for Cole. I am disabled myself and your channel always gives me hope, both of finding a partner that loves me nearly as much as you Charisma love Cole and also, of the many possibilities open when you are with the right people. No one has the right to judge you Charisma, you are just doing what any partner would do, disabled or not, which is sharing life and its adventures, nothing else. You have my support, as well as the support of many others. You are an inspiration. You have actually been the motivating factor in me wanting to live again, instead of just sitting back wanting to die because I am recently paralyzed.
As for a person who is handicapped, I say that until they sit in our chairs...mind your own business. Keep on sharing your thoughts, actions,and deeds, cause you're great and life is toooooooo short to just sit in your chair. Keep living life and forget their nonsense and enjoy, I think you're both wonderful and please let people see your life. Love you both...Colleen

They are young and really don’t understand that other people have zero say so in their grown, married life. I’m now 40 and have learned the fine art of “talk less, smile more” Most people don’t even know I’ve been married for almost 2 years now lol

I think Cole has a fear of falling so sometimes it may come across like he's not enjoying it but I believe he's just being mindful of his safety during the more risky moves and I love how Charisma challenges him and fully supports him. Stay positive people!!!! Stay positive!!!!

Btw when i said that Cole isn't helping , I was being sarcastic. Im in the same position as Cole. ( well not exactly). Anyway, I know Cole does what he can. Im lucky and blessed enough to have my injury just a tad bit lower than his and I have full use of my right hand. Im totally independent, but I have no money and no one in my life like Charisma. Cole is an adult, he can say no to anything he doesn't want to do. I like that Cole and Charisma have fun together.
I watched an episode of NCIS i they showed a guy who was sky diving they show him jumping out of the plane landing getting in a wheel chair it was the most memorable scene and I thought of you do what you love don't ever let anyone clip your wings you keep soaring do what makes you both happy
