    The title makes it seem like this technique will be specifically effective against Bernardo.

    love the recover, roll away move. I am going to try that soon. I identify very closely with Bernardo's rolling style...slow, deliberate, pressure based rolling.

    The rolling away option looks very interesting. Will definitely give this a try! Also the note on keeping your guard tight in the first place, very helpful. Thanks for sharing!

    I used the roll away with a big guy who likes to throw the leg to one side on a double under without having controlling grips. Also good when you are getting "gift wrapped". I really need to work on coming up for the single. I never do it but it gets done to me all the time.

    • @cheeseburns11
      @cheeseburns11 Před 4 lety +1

      I try to drive in from the side so you're not directly Infront of them. From here you can look for the lapel and work on Bernardo's sweep he likes from half guard. Keep moving so they have to post too as they can't choke you if you're making them post. Just my thoughts but I'm no expert. 🤙

      Most brazilians have trouble with the ''th''' sound or the soft ''R''', because we don't have any sound close to that in portuguese.

    Getting a bit annoyed I felt like I was getting things really well the first couple weeks but breaking the guard I can do it but it’s not easy for me and the. When mine gets passed I have nada it’s frustrating I understand it’s a life time of learning but I just feel I’m missing some real important basics
