Just picked up a 24 black label yesterday. The fit and finish is better than my 23 e-class mercedes tbh. The 28 speaker revel is really good (to my ears) and they are likely the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in, in a vehicle.

Love your reviews. You should consider adding a camera in the center behind you so we can see what you see (including the 48" display.) That would add a lot to your car reviews. At the drag strip, I don't care so much, though that would add value there too.

Nice catch, I never related the cradle for the outside mirrors to the daytime running light design. The cradle design for the outside mirrors is not new, this design first appeared on the 2017 Continental sedan which also introduced to us the outside door handles blended into the trim piece on the sides. In the Continental the cradle for the outside mirror was chrome not the same color as the mirrors. I think Lincoln did a fantastic design and I hope that the vehicle doesn't experience quality or reliability issues. If it doesn't this will ignite Lincoln sales number. We all thought the Aviator was the vehicle to push Lincoln to the top, it had performance, and good looks, but soon after its launch in 2020 it had several recalls and quality issues that it has never been able to recoup. Let's hope Lincoln learned from that fiasco.

I love this concept - I wish the map used more of the display, including the left side like the moving map in a high-end Audi (and maybe BMW?) There's so much room, I just hope that future software updates will allow this. Doing this would also make up for the (admittedly unneeded) omitted head-up display. I want the map right in front of me, not in the center.
I have the same complaint regarding the 360 camera display - I *know* that you can see it on the 11" center touch display, but up on the big 48" display it is too restricted (small) though I realize that the aspect ratio of the big display could make it challenging to use more of the display. I also wonder whether (or how much) there is or will be a tariff on this vehicle. The Lincoln Black Label adds $20 grand to the price, which to me is a step too far, unless they did what you said and stuffed the 2.7T V6 in this thing. (But then it should be RWD and that's just not what this vehicle is about.)

Wow Lincoln really brought out the Toyota/Lexus fanboys screaming..."but what about reliability, but what about, but what about.....!" Tells you everything you need to know about what the competition thinks. From an unbiased perspective Lincoln has raised the bar to the stratosphere with this new design language and tech. I can't image the stress that every other car maker is feeling right now looking at their tiny 12 inch displays and chiclet tablets scattered around the cockpit that barely work in harmony. Time will tell about reliability, just as it does with any new model...including ToyLexus. That's what a warranty is for. Great job Lincoln! Ok other car makers, what you got? This just got exciting

Sam, I'de like to see a comparison between this hybrid and the '24 Santa Fe Calligraphy hybrid. Does someone who wants luxury really need that luxury name plate with a bit less utilitarianism, or is the "Land Rover" exterior and the new Hyundai interior opulence and cargo space enough to sway a luxury buyer towards saving lots of money on the Santa Fe?

I very much doubt that a car that is an American name plate now manufactured in China could be a threat to Lexus. Lexus offers a pretty high degree of reliability if compared against a na
E olate like Nautilus. While the Nautilus may offer some luxury and it appears to compete in the entry level luxury. I do not believe lexus is worried about the car since Lexus has the Rx 350 as a mid asize SUV. If we sre talking depreciation after 5 years, i doubt the Lincoln could even compete in the same tier as Lexus.

Don;t believe that for a second. Most manufactures are running scared because China is getting close to flooding the U S with with cheap vehicles they can't compete in price with. As far as depreciation, when you buy a vehicle in that price, depreciation isn't exactly at the top of the priority list. If that wasn't a fact, many brands wouldn't sell. Lincoln is completely out of touch with it’s real customer base. Wades of cheap black plastic and tons of distracting electronic wizardry with a unreliable power train & components. The huge plunge in resale value will proves the reliability evidence. A Gen Z vehicle that only a Boomer could afford. Unfortunately Boomers want value for their money that is cheap to maintain; a hallmark of Town Car.

I've seen people up to gen x rave at the car's design, plus we're about to have a massive wealth transfer as boomers are about to pass their wealth onto their gen x and Millenial sucessors... so I think although a little early, this will sell quite well. Most reviewers have said the screen layout has not been distracting so far because of its placement being close to the road. And the power train is actually quite reliable with a proven engine and two different options for a transmission where even the CVT model is actually a non belt driven fully geared trans.

That’s one butt ugly vehicle! Lexus has nothing to worry about and especially when you see Lincoln/Ford reliability on the Explorer and Focus chassis which makes up their entire crossover lineup
