Remove Trap only destroys face-up Traps, like Dragon Capture Jar and Ultimate Offering, ironically the only continuous/equip like Traps in the game until MRD Robbin Goblin or MRL Spellbinding Circle. So it was basically a useless card, meanwhile De-Spell similarly may as well have destroyed only face-ups, since Quick-plays weren't even a thing until MRL Rush Recklessly and MST.

    • @Goblin_Hands

Speaking of inconsistency, Blue-Eyes and Komouri Dragon were the only targets for Flute of Summoning Dragon in SDK. Pretty damn sad, but to be fair, if you exclude Curse of Dragon, Winged Dragon #1, and Red-Eyes, the only other Dragons from LOB/SDY were only Petit Dragon, Lesser Dragon, and One-Eyed Sheild Dragon (and the super Secret Tri-Horned Dragon). MRD introduced Baby, Crawling, and Blackland.

Hane-Hane bouncing goant soldier wasn't a misplay. If his only goal was to avoid damage that turn without a plan to alsonget rid of the skull it would have been. But he already had dark hole in hand ready to take out the skull before it would get to attack again. Since it had already attacked that turn and he could dark hole it before it could do more damage, giant soldier was the most logical target. And as others said, Remove trap only worked on fsce up traps, and Lord of D prevented dragons from being targeted
