      The Players are the Bread and Butter and not the Cheerleaders. People come to see the Players so they are Top Dog. The same goes for College Sports it is Men's Football and Basketball that generates revenue for Division I Schools. People do not come in droves to see Women's Volleyball. Men's Sports is the CASH COW and not the Cheer leading Squad.

    For those saying "she signed a contract" and "she broke the rules, case closed". Bailey has already said she broke the rules and is NOT speaking out to get her job back. She is trying to change these dumb rules, not try and sign another contract. Football player, cheerleader, or engineer, these rules are ridiculous for ANY job.

    Bailey: "No, it was a part time job."
    Megyn: "So, like under $100,000."
    LOL! That's why Megyn Kelly has her own show....she can relate so well to us common folk. I would love to live in her world where saying you have a part time job translates into "Oh, so you make under $100,000." While technically correct, it's just as true a saying "So, like under $1,000,000."

    Her body suit covers more than her cheerleading outfit does! What hypocrites! And for her to have a rule that she must leave a restaurant if a fellow player is there even if she was there FIRST is absolutely disgraceful not to mention asinine. Furthermore, the fact that the cheerleaders can't talk to the football players and have to block their Facebook accounts because the coaches say they want to protect the cheerleaders is really just a cover up for the fact that they don't want their team to look bad for dating each other or sleeping around. The PROBLEM with this is that they put all the responsibility and rules on the cheerleaders instead of making the football players do the same thing! Talk about a double standard!

    It’s not just the social media rules. These organizations treat these women like pieces of meat, pay them peanuts, then dictate every aspect of their lives. And, sadly, girls compete to join. The insane policies of these organizations are a frank confession of how much they hate women, so why don’t these young women see that? Sure, make NFL cheerleading abide by decent workplace standards, but the REAL goal is to create a world where no young woman would want this job and would laugh in the face of anyone suggesting she should waste her time cheering for some sports team when she could be pursuing her own career as a performer instead.

    @c.miller2460 Před 6 lety +5

    Megyn interrupts her guests far too often...finishing their sentences, speaking over them, paraphrasing. It's bad technique, unprofessional, and it's plain rude. She utilized much better 'interview technique' when she was on Fox News. I keep trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and continue to watch her, but she just keeps doing it. I watch LOTS of interview shows/talk shows and they do not do this. Its just her. If she continues, she, and the network she represents, will lose another viewer. Her stats are already bad. She has good guests and I know she can conduct as n excellent interview; I've seen her do it in the past. Why not consider stopping this behavior before the show goes under?

    I cannot say that Cheer Leaders are useless because because they entertain the crowds during half time and they get the crowds to cheer for their team. Cheer Leaders work hard and have to be in top shape to perform their routines and the females have to look their best.
    Law Suits like this and making demands on the teams will only result in the Team Owner deciding it is not worth it to even have a Cheer Leading Squad. The Bread and Butter and the Money Makers are the Players and NOT the Cheer Leaders. These Cheer Leaders are trying to be at the same level as the Players when they are NOT, they are "Extras" like how "Extras" are on a Movie or a Television Set. Television Cameras will pan on to the Cheer Leaders for a few seconds and then back to the Game because viewers want to see the game and not the Cheer Leaders.
    The Players are the ones getting smashed in to and not the Cheer Leaders. They Players end up with brain injuries and risk getting crippled or paralyzed for life and not the Cheer Leaders. The job of the Player is dangerous which leaves them will injuries for life long after their playing days are over.

    Also, the male players are allowed to exhibit crude behavior, and sometimes illegal acts. What is their punishment? They get more publicity, a bigger salary, and a larger following. No cheerleader should have to leave an establishment just because a football player decides to go there. This double standard reminds me of the way air lines stewardesses used to be treated before they got angry and unionized.

    While I can see having cheerleaders at the high school and college level, NFL cheerleaders are a waste of time and money. At this time, the Packers, Bills, Steelers, Giants, Bears, and Browns do NOT have cheerleaders. They are the smart ones.
    With respect to keeping these cheerleaders away from the team because the players are predators, well, I can see that. A former player for the Saints is now serving time for drugging and raping females around the nation.
    As for the Saints, they would be wise to disband the cheerleaders. Same goes for the rest of the NFL teams with cheerleaders.

    I think it's clear that what they're most worried about is that the football players and cheerleaders will date... why is that so bad?? Are they worried it will cause drama on the field or something if it goes wrong? What's the real concern about it?

    • @essies4294
      @essies4294 Před 2 lety

      Avoiding drama is good, especially in the current climate of women acting like victims after consensual relationships go sour.

      The contracts are willingly signed by all of these women. They don’t have to take the job.

    This is not to discredit cheerleaders, but there is a huge difference between a cheerleader and a football player. The football players make the team millions of dollars and the cheerleaders are there to honestly model. If she was 300Ibs they sure wouldn’t have hired her so it was really about looks in the first place. She knew exactly what she was signing up for. It’s like comparing a backup dancer to Beyoncé. Or better yet it’s like the mascot being mad that they have different rules then the players. If she was a football player I would be all for her, but she’s not.
