That's not their job. Challenging the comments of your opponent is the essence of debate. However, the difficulty with Trump is that he is a prolific liar, and Biden, were he on his game, would have spent all his allotted time refuting Trump's lies.

But it was Conservatism that insisted the profit motive find its way into newsrooms. As they insist it finds its way into every aspect of life. In a normal debate, the moderators would have called him out for those lies (and people knew they were lies the second he said them), but the rules of the debates didn't allow them to do that.

The classification of Uber and Lyft drivers was changed solely for the purpose of claiming more job opportunities. As a result, many individuals who were previously employed lost their jobs and are now left with lower-paying positions and a job in the gig economy.
It wasn't Bidens job to fact check Trump, it was the journalists who were moderating. They should be fired for their pathetic input.

Both sides agreed to no fact checking. That was a big mistake on the part of the Democrats. Debating a liar with no fact checking was a terrible idea. It should have been the usual fact checking moderators or no debate.

Umm, according to BLS, in 2019 there were 158.6 million jobs and in 2024 only 161 million with an unemployment rate of 4.1% and steadily climbing, compared to 3.5% in 2019. This dudes graph seems off.

Before Trump even was elected the first time he actually had over 5,000 legal cases in the courts systems that had been registered against him for non payment of bills that he owed to contractors who had done construction work for his company and he had not paid those bills! So from the beginning of his work in construction he has refused to pay contractors bills for work that had been completed and were due to be paid by Trump!
That specifically makes him a fraud even before becoming
President!
