I'm really developing a "hate/love" relationship with this site. I love how this guy explains everything and demonstrates how these kits go together. I hate that I am now addicted to building Tamiya tank kits...I build ships normally...but these kits are just fun to build...and it's starting to get expensive.
My wife hates Andy because he has cost her so much money. On the upside, she never sees me.
Andy, still one of the best on-line mentors that I have ever seen. Thanks for taking the time and the effort to consistently produce videos that are helpful, insightful, educational and enjoyable! Please keep it up!
Nice, Andy! Keep it coming! You’ve got me back into modeling, after 15 years.
Two kits in one box!
I like the deal
Love the video. My Dad was in Korea and he told me so many stories about the 50's M4s
Looks great Andy!
I built the WWII version. What a fun build. Zero issues.
I’m currently fighting with Dragon, so I’m all about Tamiya!
R.I.P. Gaz64b 2017-2017
Looks like a Christmas present that will arrive in January.
Great job Andy. Really like that nose art. Keep 'em coming.
I love how you say the road wheels just require a little bit of time. I spent a whole weekend cleaning and building the road wheels!
Nice video I'm Korean
Thank you very much Andy
Just got this kit in the mail yesterday and here I am this morning just finding this video! Sweet!
Incredible build. Thanks very much for sharing your building tips and pointing out some of the minor issues with the kit, especially with the decals.
Thank you Andy for posting this video, another great bild in your long list of video's😁
Love your weathering techniques
Andy, one feature I liked about the easy 8 WWII kit is that the idle wheel has grooves so you can adjust the tension of the track like in the real tank by rotating it and once you reach the effect you like you glue it in that position. Like always, great video!
Really nice Andy, thanks for sharing. I'll see you next week. Joe
WOW!! Now I want this kit as well!!
Great job, always packed with info and tips.Big help on my end.Thank You.
Was in the shop this afternoon the model is outstanding !
This thing is a beauty! Cant wait to get it one
Great build Andy
You did great man, one of my top kits to hunt for now
Nice job Andy, including parts review.
I’m currently building this kit. Well done by Tamiya! I’ll be utilizing the tank, scout car and some Miniart us raincoat infantry to make a Korean War diorama!
Another excellent job & video from you again. Thanks for posting your videos as I learn a lot from them!
와! 대박이네!
It's fucking cool right?
Cool Sherman and Video, Thanks Andy
Andy nice work thank you for the video!
Thanks Andy, great build & paint job on the Korean War easy 8. I'm looking forward to the next video.
1/48 Tamiya 109G 6 is next
Just started working on a Tamiya Honda NR from '92...highly recommended for your next motorcycle kit!
i enjoy watching your channel and your videos have really helped me when I'm building a kit.
明らかに田宮さんのリニューアルキットで作り易さでは決定版の一つだと思います!解説👍
I Think this is a Amazing looking sherman! Good Job Andy!
This is so cool, again andy great content. Best models on the web! Keep em coming
Thank you Sir .... Nice tip on the Wheels
Lovely build again Andy
That's a pretty tank!
awesome job as always Andy love watching your videos keep doing what your doing..
Nice build Andy! It's a nice change to see some color on a tank kit!
You and Tamiya are the best... hello from México...
Excellent job - as always.
Really enjoy doing the Sherman tank builds...
very good build, will get one myself
This kit looks superb Andy. Can`t wait to get this in the UK.
Great help as always. I just finished this kit in the C Company version and found it to be great Tamiya kit. One thing; in past I always paint and add wheels last with the tracks. this time I did your version in the video and added all wheels for painting entire model. That gave me a problem with getting the tracks on over the two top roller wheels. Had to bend the wheels slightly (one broke off) to get the tracks on. Turned out fine but in future I think I will add wheels separately .
Awesome Andy!!
Another good one Andy!
Awesome, thank you.
Looks cool!
Great job!
Look amazing, nice work. I️ didn’t think I️ would like the Red Devils face but it turned out fantastic
Great video terrific model
Love the tiger camo
LOOKS GREAT! IM DEFINITELY GOING TO GET THAT KIT. IVE BEEN WANTING TO DO A KOREAN WAR DIORAMA FOR A LONG LONG TIME
Great video Andy, really enjoy your videos.
thanks andy.
Great work! Love the printer in the background :)
I am really looking forward to this model kit. So much for my stash ban after Christmas!!! D'oh!
Many thanks for sharing Andy. Have a great weekend and have fun my friend,
Joe
Joe's Model Kits stash ban? Ha! what a load of nonsense-a stash cannot be too big.
Nice Sherman Andy love your videos and you inspire me to do more models :P
Looks like a nice kit.
This is going to be my next model, yep gonna order from you Andy.
awesome!
Gonna use this to make a vinyel on Forza for a 1949 mercury coupe, thanks for the vid so I can see the design better
It's good to know what airbrush you're using... but it would be super useful to know what the needle size and pressure are, as well.
looks good andy.
Great kit - nice updated variant of the 'Easy Eight'. Really like this decal option, the canvas mantlet, new tracks- all good stuff. Would love to see this on a diorama/base in Korean War setting with or without the M40, maybe use the Gaz jeep and replicate the box cover?
Im thinking to start it today!
Check out the graphics! Sweet! Looks like another to add to the xmas list.
Nice to see, Operation Ripper April 1951
Looks Really nice! Now i think about repainting my old sherman 🤔
U are such an inspiration to me
Now with unboxing..great greetings from Germany
Nice !!
I love building model vehicals
I'm korean I like your videos and, I like tank plamodel too.
Glad to see the pile caps, very common in Korea
Great review thanx
Wow, couldn't believe you had one already!
Thank you , Tamiya was kind of enough to let me announce it with them by getting the kit early to me.
Great build. Needs to be added to the Sherman section of your channel.
The Cetus 3D machine is also busy building stuff in the background :)
You are incredible
Great work again Andy. Love the build, but I have to say that Tamiya jacked up those decals. Their tiger looks like a devil/sea monster.
it is a devil I misspoke in the beginning of the video
I like your jobs...it looks great :)
i was looking at that modle!!!!
I don't build kits, but I like your style.
nice!!!!
I used this kit for a fictional Devil's Brigade team in ww2 diorama
I like it
nice video
Nice ! ;)
That red devil face looked like a pain in the butt to put on. But the result looks great! Hope to see the GAZ jeep in the future.
Great video!!! Your videos are really great and your tips are great!one thing when you do the reviews can you make it a little bit shorter!!! You’re a master modeler! Keep up the good work😊
Great kit. I love your videos Andy, I learn something new with every one I watch. I worked in one of the original Squadron Shops, in Elmhurst, Illinois about 45 years ago. I actually met Shep Paine, that was a thrill. I have one question for you. I was taught to wash the parts first, to get the mold release oil off, for a better painting surface, but I've never heard you mention it. Is that true or am I just wasting my time? Thanks again for the videos!
do you have any plans on doing a vid with that jeep that came with the kit as well? would love to see it!
I might
badass
At 12:15 you mentioned that you filled in the holes for the hull parts S8 & S10. I found an archive photo of Rices Red Devils that had that attachment. So you can add those parts if you want to.
Maybe you could have added some mud on the lower front to let it look like it has gone over a muddy road but further i enjoy watching and all of the vehicles looks so good
I think it's not a tiger that is drawn in the front of the m1a3, I think it's one of the Korean monsters called "tokebi"도께비 or a demon.
Edit:crap, Andy said it in the video and I did not see that part.
👍
